Homewood Suites by Hilton Rockville-Gaithersburg

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting family and taking the train into Washington DC on two of the days. The room was nice, with 1 king bed and sofabed for my son. I liked the shampoo, conditioner & body wash containers inside the shower and lotion on the counter. Beds and pillows were clean and comfy. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding! scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, the usual yogurt, fruit, breads, bagels & muffins but they also had a daily special of breakfast burritos you could assemble with pork or chicken, eggs,tortillas, different sauces like a cilantro crema and it all looked homemade by the ladies in the kitchen. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but we got back to the hotel too late each night to use it. The hotel was near the Shady Grove train park & ride station so that was convenient. Used laundry room and that was fine too. Only issue was they were resurfacing the parking lot that week and made parking very tight some nights. But they gave plenty of notice about it so we knew ahead of time. Overall, very nice place.

We are a family of five, and stayed two nights during February. Everything was clean, the room was comfortable and spacious, and it accommodated all of us. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lots of options. The pool and hot tub were awesome, and we were the only ones using it each time we went. We took a train ride into DC, that was pretty easy to get to. The staff was super friendly. We wished that there were extra hooks in the room, for coats, towels, and such, but otherwise everything was perfect. I loved the mini kitchen!

Good place for stay if you have big family’s

Family and pet friendly. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend it, especially if you have a dog since it is very close to places where you can walk with your four-legged family member.

No swimming only reason i came there for my grandkids no one told me it was clised

My husband accompanied me on a quick biz trip. Everything was perfect. Parking n check-in easy, room nice, a surprise wine and cheese reception, almost no kids, beautiful area to eat the breakfast with a lovely fireplace. I’d love to come back just for another fun overnight.

Lovely and updated hotel, extremely clean, super nice staff. Pool was great for the kids, also used the gym for workouts well equipped and very clean. The room was very spacious for a our family of five and the kids had enough room to spread out. Breakfast always had good options for all and the coffee was also good which was great. Overall a very nice stay and would highly recommend especially for families.

Stayed here For family trip to DC. Was a 5 min drive to metro station. 35 to 45 min trip on train to downtown. Stayed in suite. Had roll out bed for extra child. Food was very good for breakfast and dinners (mon thru thur). Only place ever seen a lifeguard for the pool. Very friendly staff. Very clean.

My family and I spent a week, and couldn't have been happier. The metro was a 5 minute drive, which would take you right into the city. There were restaurants and a grocery store a block away. The hotel staff was welcoming, courteous, and very helpful. The continental breakfast had a variety to offer each morning. We will definitely stay there again.
