Cambria Hotel Rockville

We had requested either connecting rooms or rooms next to each other. We ended up with two very different floors, which was very frustrating. Given that we were a family with children, but needed two rooms. I was very disappointed in that. It looks like the hotel is undergoing renovations. Other than that, everything is really perfectly fine with the hotel.

Really nice place to spend the night. Came with the family and it was clean with a pool, hot tub and gym. The area has a movie theatre right near it and a parking garage. Highly recommend.

Chose the hotel for its great location. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Close proximity to metro line for trips to DC. Also handy to visit family in Silver Sring. Pool was la real added bonus.

The room was spacious and clean enough room for my family of 6. Loved the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom ! Pool was clean and relaxing!

Dear hotel management, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at your hotel from November 12th to the 18th. On the first night of our stay, everything seemed to be going well until I was abruptly woken up by severe itching on my scalp, arms, and legs. To my horror, I discovered that I had been bitten by bed bugs. This was incredibly distressing and ruined our experience at your hotel. I immediately informed the front desk about the situation, and we were moved to a different room the next day. I appreciate that the hotel covered the cost of washing our clothes, but the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced cannot be overstated. At the time, I chose not to make a scene or ask for additional compensation because I did not want to cause any further trouble during our stay. However, the impact of this experience has lingered, and I feel that it is only fair to request a full or partial refund for our stay. I am disheartened to report that my attempts to seek redress for this issue have been met with resistance from your staff. I spent over $1000 at your hotel, and the reality of our stay being marred by bed bugs in room 712 is something that I cannot overlook. I urge you to take this matter seriously and address it with the utmost urgency. The presence of bed bugs in a hotel room is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the cleanliness and maintenance of your establis

Spacious room. I appreciated that showerhead was higher than usual, so I could wash my head without bending (I am 6'4'' and usually shooters are ät my neck level). On the negative, lights in the shower did not work, had to request to replace the light bulb. The pool is very small and shallow, only good for people with small children.

We stayed here while visiting family. Convenient, comfortable and we will stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed three nights while visiting family and each staff shift was professional and helpful, despite the bar and mini restaurant being closed (staffing challenge). The room and bathroom was spacious with more comfortable seating than usual, a full L-sofa, plus the usual desk chair. Electrical outlets were super generous, although we found a floor lamp by the sofa would have brighten the room at night and offered easier reading on the sofa. Also more local city information, especially given the bar was not functioning. We had several problems with the validated parking not being recognized by the exit machine but the front desk was close and resolved the problem quickly.

Biggest gripes were that the internet didnt work well at all (kept dropping very five mins and then youd have to log back on) and the pool didn't open until 11am, which for those with kids makes NO SENSE. Additionally, our TV didnt work for the first two days. It should be a better hotel. It was fairly priced but what hotel doesnt have reliable internet in 2023?
