Courtyard by Marriott Rockville

We only stayed one night but everything was exceptional. The exercise room was nice and spacious. The breakfast was an additional cost and was provided by Starbucks that was inside the premises. That was a surprise (not necessarily a good one). When I opted to pay for breakfast (which was a good deal by the way) I wish they had mentioned it was provided by Starbucks. Usually when breakfast is mentioned at a hotel, it’s a buffet which my family and I would have preferred. Also, the Starbucks breakfast options were very limited but it was tasty and satisfying.

No picturesque scene, no pool, no garden flowers, just bare. Not really children friendly, no game centre for kids. Some staff gave excellent customer service: Rachael, Angella, Diana, Camile,Gloria, Rahul. Orhers were borderline. Food wasn't great. No variety, mostly sandwiches.

Check in was quick.The room was nice and clean,the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends. I would definitely come back when I’m in town 👍

Large groups of noisy kids allowed to roam and play in the hallways and floors where their rooms were not even located, and in stairwells. They even returned to knock on my door only to run back to stairwell to make noise after my first complaint to front desk. Upon checkout, the front desk worker asked me, "do you have any hockey sticks?," and then she asked me, "did you grab one of them [the kids] by the shirt?" I asked her if I should call the police about this false accusation, and she said, "the father didn't seem concerned about it, and he said, 'if she did it, he [the kid] probably deserved it.'" She then said, "I don't think they'll do anything, you shouldn't have anything to worry about." The mob of kids backed up the one kid's false accusation about me to the front desk, AFTER I had already complained twice to front desk from my room phone. I never even stepped out of my room until I checked out. I merely opened my room door and told them I was reporting them. One kid said, "you get out of here," while I was standing in my room sticking my head out of my room door!!! Then, as they raced down the hallway, they said, "f*** you." I first learned about the false accusation at checkout, and one (1) of the three (3) females behind the front desk seemed not to believe me -- the very one whom I spoke with twice from my room phone!!!
