We had two rooms in our party of 5 for a family members memorial service and had to drive all night in order to be there in time. Hotel staff allowed us to check in early so we could rest and get ready. They were all very nice and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and for the price of the rooms, this is a great place to stay.

Refused a waiver for a reschedule for a death in the family.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s both nice and family friendly. Indoor pool is small and only 3-4’ deep, but perfect for kids. Free hot & cold breakfast was kept stocked all morning. Clean & modern. Nice sized rooms & breakfast/hangout area. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Our stay was very nice. I slept like a baby. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was good, the last time they had smoked sausage not this time, but still good.

We go to Maryland a lot because we have family there. We have always stayed at Sleep Inn or Rocky Gap (with no problems). Rocky Gap was full over the 4th of July weekend and I thought we would try something new and booked two nights at this hotel. The good: Most of the staff were very friendly. The hotel is exceptionally clean (kudos to the housekeeping staff). The bad: we only stayed one night because the room above us was excessively loud!! It sounded like bowling balls being dropped on the ceiling. This lasted up until 2:30am!! I did call the front desk several times. The guy that kept answering was not friendly and just seemed annoyed we were bothered by it. I'm not sure if he actually went and spoke to the noisey guest, but perhaps maybe some training on situations like this..(i.e., guests who are loud late at night but won't stop even when being addressed). I was informed I would not get any refund if I checked out early. I didn't check out until later the next day (since I was being charged no matter what) but we spent our second night at a different hotel. THE WORST PART: Our horrible experience did not end there. We were charged for two nights and spent probably $20 - $30 on "extras". I checked my account the day after I got home (July 5th) and had the following charges from THIS hotel: $588.24 $322.13 $600.00 $294.12 Like what?!! I called and they said they did realize the mistake, and they will return the funds but it may take a few days!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet, clean and large. The check-in and out was effortless. My family will definitely stay here on our next visit to Cumberland.
