From checkin on a rainy night to checkout on a busy morning we were completely sssisted by staff. Brandon patiently answered many of my queries about takeout, weird room coffee maker and access to delivery. The kitchen was a huge plus and very clean—when the dishwasher wasn’t working they sent someone up to fix it right away.
Loved the local access to everything we needed as a family of 3 (2 little ones). We could walk to the antique railroad, ferry, any of the many great restaurants and be home for a good rest. Breakfast was busy but also a huge help and very well run.
In addition the pool facilities were much cleaner than most I’ve been too. Very impressed and will certainly be back.

An outdated property but great location that serves our family purpose and needs. Staff was friendly; although no one really smiled with the exception of the front desk when we inquired to update our key cards. We are not sure if we stay here next time. May need to opt to a newer facility. Pros included pet friendly, pool and free breakfast. My little one did enjoy anll three and all three did put a smile on her face. Cushions on couches were old and didn’t feel clean. We have been frequenting this area for the last 7-8 years and have stayed here each time. Many great family memories but I think we may have outgrown this hotel. We prefer clean and new. Wished the lobby smell was the smell in our room.

I go to Portland for 2 nights every April school vacation with my grandkids. We have stayed at different hotels and the Residence Inn is the best. The pool is the nicest for the kids. The room has a kitchen so we can cook in a bit. The breakfast is great. The staff was friendly. It is clean. It is in walking distance to restaurants and the water front. The only thing that was amiss slightly (probably due to staff shortages found in most every business these days) was that we requested bedding for the pull out sofa and it never was delivered. I went down before bed time to the desk and got it myself. They said they would send up pillows. The pillows never came. We were fine...my only criticism.

Hotel itself is good. Convenient location near to shops and dining though also away from the busyness so it was quiet. Waterfront is near by so a good location to walk with family and pet. The parking situation is frustrating because it’s a separate building and directions to the location were poor. It’s not connected to the hotel so it’s a production to go in and out. Overall a good stay.

Location is about 10 min walk (with little ones) to the waterfront area and restaurants. Far enough to be quite but close to get around without driving. The daily breakfast was actually very good! Make your own waffle station was a hit. Also served scramble eggs, turkey and pork sausage, breads, yogurt, cereal. Pleanty to choice from. Pool is large enougn but no hot tub and does not looked to be cleaned daily as there was a knot of hair floating on day 2 of our stay. Sort of expected for a 3 star hotel.
Parking is $30/day at hotel. We actually lucked out as stayed on Sunday and a Monday holiday so street parking was free both days. Pmm
Room with very clean and new little kitchenette.

Solid hotel, the Travelocity 4.3 stars feels about right. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was solid (if crowded and a bit chaotic), and the pool was mostly clean. The bar and restaurant area is calm and pleasant.
Cons: the hotel is pet friendly , which was totally fine for us, though you wouldn't want to stay here if you're not a fan of sharing elevators and hallways and entrances with dogs. That being said, a lot of guests had their dogs off their leashes, and it wasn't great navigating the lobby with our small child. Actually felt dangerous at times This is the fault of oblivious guests, of course, but perhaps the hotel could make the leash requirements more clear? We even encountered a dog off-lead at the indoor pool, barking at its people who were merrily splashing away. The dog ran a few circles around the pool before we asked the owners to please remove it.
So: good hotel, but not sure if we'd ever return

The reservation systems were down when we arrived to check in. One receptionist was friendly and providing information while the other was curt and not helpful whatsoever. We were forced to wait over 2 hours with our dog and our toddler for a room and we were never contacted with an update as to how long it may take. We were also never offered anything to make up for the frustrating experience.
