La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Shreveport Airport

This stay was a part of a long, unplanned trip. We stayed in several hotels from Ga, to Texas and back while traveling tor a family emergency. This was by far our best hotel experience. Beautiful property. We loved the full size Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash… large beautiful room and bathroom. It was quiet and a wonderful stop on our way back home. Great breakfast too.

Overall the hotel was very nice! I was disappointed not to have queen beds. Full size beds for a family of 4 is not really conducive especially with older kids. Everything was updated except the tub. All in all, the room was spacious and we felt safe. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this facility to other people.

Timmie was very accommodating, she has a very warm and welcoming personality. Traveling with small children can be stressful at times but staying at this hotel made it a breeze. We will definitely be returning.

The area was nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly. We ate at a nearby Chinese restaurant with a delicious buffet. Room was clean but at night I saw baby cockroaches come out in the bathroom. I think the place is beautiful but the room needs to be fumigated.

I enjoyed the property and the friendly, professional staff. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

This hotel was “ok”. Our room was clean and nice enough. The main elevator was broken so you had to go all the way to the end of the hall for the elevator. We were staying on the 4th floor so at least at check in it was necessary to use. Our room was comfortable enough and the water pressure was great in the shower. My kids enjoyed the pool. Check in was a little slow, had to wait multiple minutes at the front desk each time we visited because no one was present. This morning was our biggest issue though. We left at 6:30am to go to a swim meet. Unfortunately breakfast didn’t start until 7 so we had to leave extra early to get breakfast someplace else. As we were coming down the hall to check out there was a woman with a dog in her arms and a man and the front desk clerk was yelling and screaming with this couple. It was 6:30am and the clerk was having a FULL on fight with this couple. They were screaming and cursing in the lobby. I had 2 children (6/8) with me and we were extremely uncomfortable. The man was kind enough to tell the clerk to stop cursing in front of the kids, but it seemed to be a very unnecessary fight. I considered calling the police when we left the hotel. The fight seemed to be something about the dog not being able to go through the lobby during breakfast hours, but as far as I knew breakfast didn’t start for another 30 min. (I called last night to double check because we were hoping to eat breakfast). The end of our trip definitely left a sour taste.

My family and I were comfortable. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Booked for 2 nights but left early after finding 2 baby roaches and a mama roach in our room. We let the front desk know and they said they weren’t aware of this being an issue before. Find that hard to believe but who knows. Aside from roaches, the place is nice. Good sized room, decent location, and the ladies at the front desk are super friendly.
