Booked this for a trip with family/kids. Wanted one that was clean and close to French Quarter without the noise. This hotel stay was as expected- very clean, helpful front desk and a 5-10 min walk to French quarters. The fitness floor was also well equipped and kept clean (including Bosu balls and stretch cords).

Hotel is old. Room outdated and could use a referbish. Not enough towels, no bathroom toiletries, AC barely cooling and pullout in suite was back breaking for the kids. Loud noise from the street trolley. Staff was super friendly and very polite. They were the best part of the stay experience.

Visited Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Ave with my family for several days. Overall, hotel is beautiful- from my understanding, it is a historic building that had been renovated within the last few years; lobby is beautiful and clean. Hilton staff was able to check-in us in as soon as we arrived, which was great! In addition, I had requested a room on a high floor in anticipation of some great views of the city, but the rooms had tiny windows. Room was nice- had double beds, A/C worked well, & were always clean. The only issue I had with the hotel was that our toilet flooded one evening. We called the front desk & they sent up maintenance & housekeeping to clear out the water. Staff were very nice & helpful, however, for the rest of our time there, toilet made noises every few minutes (imagine listening to that at night). Also, there were times I had to call downstairs for extra towels & one time it took over 40 minutes just to receive towels. In conclusion, for the price & location, hotel was fine, but our experience was nothing out of this world.

We had 4 rooms at the hotel for a family gathering for New Year. Overall the stay was OK but not great. The biggest issue was lack of room service. My room - my wife and I - was serviced every day, but the rooms occupied by our kids and their partners were not serviced at all. Admittedly, the rooms were vacated late in the morning but room cleaning was requested at reception each day to no avail. Very disappointing for a hotel of this calibre and price.
