We had an amazing family trip to New Orleans. We wanted to be close to bourbon street but didn’t want to be in the middle of the party and this hotel was perfect!!!

We had a great time with the family and you are in the middle of the French Quarter.

Great location but there is absolutely no recycling anywhere on the property or the French Quarter for that matter. I've never seen anything like it. They don't even give you a recycling bin in the room. They provide cold water in the lobby which is great, but, again, no recycling bucket so all those thousands of plastic cups go directly into a landfill. The amount of plastic waste is unbelievable. When you ask if there's recycling anywhere they look at you like you have 2 heads and laugh.
They don't give you a sign to hang on your door when you don't want your sheets and towels changed daily (for water waste & conservation purposes) that every other hotel has. The whole experience leaves you feeling like you just destroyed your kid's futures.
Walls are thin. You could hear your neighbor's conversations. They allow large dogs into the rooms so good luck trying to get a dog to stop barking at 3 a.m.. They should really have a separate section or floor for people bringing pets.
The one day we used the pool it had a bunch of water bugs in it. Don't know if they clean it in the morning. There are also very few umbrellas so you WILL roast. The umbrellas are only at the tables, not the chaise lounges.

Our stay was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. And the location was perfect for us as we were traveling with two kids ages 10 and 11. It was within walking distance of so many things, including the streetcar, which took us to activities that were further away. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone: single, couple, or family!

The hotel is located in a great location for Mardi Gras celebrations. It is far enough so the crowd noise will not keep you up st night. Walking distance from everything. Jackson Square, cafe du monde, coops place, market place etc. Very friendly staff through our 4 day stay. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Will try to book here next year aswell.

The hotel is renovated from an old Nun convent. The Architecture inside is pleasant as you would expect from older buildings in the area. Had no issues with the staff, they were professional and helpful. Rooms were avg. for a basic 2 Queen. Mini fridge did not work and was very small anyway. Beware which side of the building your room is on. One side of the building is parallel to Bourbon St. (Noisy side).
Coffee bar was unattended most of the time. Get your joe elsewhere. Never ate breakfast at their restaurant, prices too elevated. Go to nearby Cafe Beignet instead. Jazz bar downstairs is probably the highlight of the place as it had nice ambiance and good music. Drinks were made with quality as opposed to other places. Try the Sazerac.
Hotel Concierge was helpful. While the Ghost tours guides were knowledgeable about the history, it is a 2-hour walking tour and you never get to go in any structure, as you might believe from the pamphlets. Do not do the alligator tour in their winter, there are none to see. So, it is an expensive duck boat ride in the bayou. While cool to see the swamp area, you'll need to justify it @ $60 plus a person. Most of these tours are not what they purport to be (beware).
My First time in NOLA, my understanding is it has definitely declined due to increased crime, homelessness etc. Did not see any police presence. While Bourbon St. is live, don't take your kids. It is definitely a debauchery cesspool. Don't be flashy and never go out alone!

This hotel is ideally located in the French Quarter, right behind St Louis Cathedral. The rooms are larger and well appointed. Walk in shower for those traveling with children. Street side rooms can be noisy with the party on the street so if you like it quiet ask for an interior room, view of the pool courtyard is lovely. Staff is great, decor lovely and everything clean. Will stay again!!

First time to New Orleans, we loved this hotel! 2 kids (10 and 8), we loved the pool the most, the hotel vibe, the spacious room and comfy beds, the beignets at the bar, the amazing and friendly staff. We could walk to almost everything we wanted to visit like Jackson Square, water front area, ghost tours and shopping and more (drove to Carousel park/Orleans park, also awesome). Cannot say enough positive reviews about the hotel. Will only stay here when we visit again. Thank you Bourbon Orleans!

This property is centrally located in the French Quarter and easy walking distances to restaurants, shops and bars in the area. Bourbon street is not far away and while I know what to expect, it was difficult being on the first floor facing the street and LOUD music until 1-2AM. We were traveling with our kids and had to have our sound machines on full blast. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are roomy and clean with nice furnishings. Only complaint was a strong sulfur smell coming from our bathroom. Not sure it could be helped, but not ideal. Pool area was clean and nice and we enjoyed that aspect of things.
