Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar

I would love to have given this place 5 starts all across the board. The room was very nice, small but nice, the balcony was a great feature. However it felt like the air was on and it was about 50 degrees outside. I was painfully cold the entire stay. Turned the heat on but it didn't warm up at all. When I called the desk, whoever answered said they would be up to help and never showed. The service here is also subpar. Whoever was at the desk both days barely took the time to look up at us from their computer during check in and when we asked him about dinner options he had already forgotten 5 minutes later and when we reminded him again, he still never helped us with that. The bartender had disgusting visibly dirty hands (like he was gardening or working on a car)and freely put his naked hands in the garnish dishes and in our drinks. For such a high class place I expected better drinks or preparation but these were clearly local kids who knows nothing about running a luxury hotel. There is lots music playing until 1am which was lovely but could be upsetting if you aren't aware it's going to be happening. I was so disappointed. Definitely not worth the money we spent.
