Rooms clean! Beds comfortable. Breakfast had many options and was so good! Me and kids loved it

Everything about the property was great, except... had some bad weather Sunday, and the power got affected... it was out. And we really couldn’t go to our rooms because it was extremely stuffy and warm in there. The guest had to basically stay in the halls or try to go somewhere with air. But there was a glitch there. It was raining so hard and the wind was blowing even harder, unless you had a full wet suit on, you were guaranteed to be soaked by the time you walk there. Why not just drive? Well, the parking structure machine to let you in and out wasnt working due to the storm. Luckily everyone took it in stride. We all became a family and shared our drinks and snacks and had a reunion under the parking overhang in front of the hotel. They really should have had a generator for the whole hotel to kick in when somethimg like this happens. Will I stay again? Without a doubt. The staff was great, the location is perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable (the matress was a little soft for my taste, but i did sleep). All in all, 4 out of 5.

The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. It is nice to be able to walk from the hotel to downtown Louisville within a few minutes. Overall, a great stay for a family vacation!

My family, 2 adults and 3 kids, checked into a suite on Saturday. Room was clearly not serviced between guests. (Dried mucus on sheets, hairs on sheets, pillows, counters, etc). We immediately notified front desk. We were given clean sheets to remake ourselves (2 full beds and the pullout sofa). We were told room would be fully serviced the next morning (Sunday). In Sunday, we left the room and returned in the afternoon. Room was still not serviced. Notified front desk and said we’d be added to the list for the next day (Monday). Monday morning we leave the room, return in the afternoon, room is still unserved. Notified front desk, again, and said housekeeping had left for the day. We checked out Tuesday morning. During our stay we had to ask for towels multiple times per day (were given 2 each time for a room full of 5 people), we had to ask for sheets, tissues, even toilet paper. When we left, the dirty sheets from checkin were still in the room, along with bags of trash from 5 people living in a room for three and a half days. Not only was this entire experience unsanitary, there was no attempt from staff to correct an issue over MULTIPLE days. I chose this hotel based on reviews which is why I’m leaving my honest one here. RUN from this hotel. If anything is wrong, staff is not trained to resolve the issues and cleaning is CLEARLY not a priority. I’m scared to image the cleaning issues we CANNOT see. Will never stay here again.

My family and I visited town for the Alicia keys concert which was wonderful if I may add, and this hotel was the perfect distance from the YUM center! The staff was great!! Security was great you felt safe because u needed a key card for the elevator and most things!! The room was clean beautiful view!! Loved the windows great for natural light! The bathroom was fully stocked with Dove products which my daughter loved from hand wash to body wash. Nice touch! The breakfast was the standard buffet style breakfast. There were options but I wish they were better. Staff has a hard time keeping items stocked! Overall great location price and experience!! Would come again and recommend!!

The front desk attendant had a great recommendation for a kid friendly dinner within walking distance. Both ladies were very friendly and helpful.

It was convenient and safe for what I needed in a hotel at that time. The area surrounding the hotel is a little confusing with all the one way streets. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. The only complaints I have are regarding other travelers with kids racing and screaming through the halls late at night. Kids on vacation make noise.

We arrived at the hotel to only find that my reservation was never reserved the Staff did Absolutely Nothing to accommodate even tho i had a confirmation number and was on the road all day and was very tired Thanks Holiday Inn Exspress for ruining my vacation way to go i wont be staying here in the future ever again and I will definitely share this information with family and friends 😢
