Comfort Inn & Suites

The staff was excellent. We had a slight family emergency and needed a rollaway bed last minute and they found one promptly. They were very kind and friendly also.

RUN AWAY- BED BUGS!!!! Very disappointed in this property!!! One member of our family was covered in bites after staying overnight!! When I called the hotel to report and ask if this had been an issue I was of course told “no”. However there was no surprise at all in the employee’s voice and I was told “the exterminator would be called”. ALSO- Photos are very misleading!!! This property is not well maintained. Very dirty and worn. Blood on the curtains in our room, unidentified fluids on the walls. Pillow smelled like B.O. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom caving in. Mold in the shower, sink did not drain. Should have gone with my gut and left as soon as we checked in!!!!!!!!

This was my second stay at the comfort inn. My first day on the second floor was amazing and that is why I booked for my next trip there to Wichita. This time they put me on the third floor and the room was not as amazing there was a large gap at the bottom of the door When I shut it completely, so I made sure I kept that safety lock on at all times. The fire detector looked like it had been removed, because, it was hanging from the wall, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke when I first entered so I used my own air freshener and Lysol and Febreze to freshen the room. Other than that the room was very large the beds were comfortable and it is a place that I will return because it’s in a convenient space for me to get to my elderly mother. And my grand children when I come to Wichita. But I will request never to be placed in room 309. It needs to be fixed. Yes, I reported it to the front desk.

This place was disgusting. We immediately left after seeing the room. There were (what looked like) blood stains on the curtains, feces on the wall in the bathroom, and the closet doors were filthy. There also holes in the wall - where it looked like a picture once hung- that they did not bother to repair. Not to mention another guest in the hotel was walking up and down our floor hall screaming curse words on the phone. Absolutely not safe and would never recommend a family stay here with there children. Although the outside of the hotel and lobby looked updated, the room like a slum, not a place to get a good nights rest.
