There was a sports tournament that was in town and the noise level was tremendous! There were kids and families who were outrageous on my floor and that prompted calls to the front desk. This went on well past 10pm!

Children ran up-and-down the hallway quite a bit of the time period would have liked to have a little more control over that but did not want to say anything and ruin the children's fun at the same time

I like the remodeling, especially the lobby. The rooms feel especially clean because of the new flooring. The new showers were a nice-looking and well-functioning update, although I wonder if some families would prefer to still have bathtubs for young children. The drapes didn't seem to darken the room as much as in the past, but maybe that is a result of the room location, time of year, etc. All in all, this Marriott provided a lovely and convenient stay, as always. I especially appreciate the close, safe, and well-lit parking - I feel comfortable entering and exiting the property, even at night. I love the full-service Starbucks in the lobby - so convenient, with really friendly staff.

The room was large and comfortable. Included breakfast was awesome, and the servers were very attentive. Even though there were several large groups staying at the time, the staff managed it very well. The bar downstairs was open and inviting. The only downside is the pool is in need of remodeling, so if that is a priority for your family, this would not be the place for you. If the pool and fitness center are not a priority, this was a super value.

I was disappointed for the price I paid. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave. There was no ice bucket to be found. The sheets were below par. I had to wait 5-10 minutes to check in. I had to pay $8.00 per night to park!!! Also, there was not a continental breakfast. I normally stay at Hampton Inn in Merriam when I visit family in the area, but it was booked for this night. Hampton Inn has the amenities I look for when traveling. It is just as nice, if not nicer, has a refrigerator and microwave in the room, has a continental breakfast, and is about as clean, not to mention about 30% less expensive. I'd say this hotel was extremely clean and has more amenities for the jet set (restaurant, bar), but for family travel, Hampton Inn is much better.

Great family place with a nice indoor/outdoor pool with hot tub.
Our room was super clean, bottled water, mini fridge and great bed with comfy pillows. The wood/tile floors were so nice, especially for folks with allergies. Hotel carpet is often so disgusting!
Beautiful bar and restaurant area, Starbucks in the lobby and private parking lot, with gated entrance. $15/day to park, so tack that on your daily room rate.
