Quality Inn Morton at I-74

I booked two rooms for family for one night. The rooms were very quiet. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The linens were clean and soft. There were plenty of clean, fluffy towels.The breakfast was modest, but well presented with several options. The front desk allowed us late checkout with no fuss. I recommend this hotel, and i would stay here again.

Front desk crew was helpful and friendly. There were bits of dried mud in the floor, and in the dark I stepped on a gravel pebble. There was no alarm clock in the room. Bed was hard. Toilet seemed like it was child-sized... seriously small toilet. Smaller than the toilets in my house, like if you had a closet-sized 1/2 bath. Then that toilet would have been appropriate. Toilet seat was tightened down well... but crooked. Breakfast was very disappointing, even for a hotel breakfast. Egg "patties?" were rubbery and dried out. Sausage patties seemed like they were vegan. Biscuits were cold and crumbled to powder. Gravy was watery, and there were about 3 tablespoons of it in the mini crock pot after only an hour of the breakfast being open (and it wasn't because the breakfast room was busy... they just didn't prep enough). I didn't even attempt tasting it. No hot sauce or ketchup options. Waffles were good.
