Impossible to sleep in a room with constant noise coming from the vents. Maintenance came to try and help but i think he's heard this before about room 515. We didn't realize how loud it was until we turned off the tv about 1030. By then the kids were sleeping and i wasn't about to wake them up, pack up our stuff and move to another room. They offered, but it was 11pm by then. Very disappointing. The rest of the hotel is nice. It's worthless though if you don't get any sleep.

An absolute wonderful hotel. Aesthetically pleasing in every nook. The room was spacious for our family of five and our Lab. State of the art technology in the hotel and room. Breakfast was top notch with omelettes made to order. Parking across the street was a little inconvenient but it was free. The location was right downtown and across from the police station. We will definitely stay again!

The atmosphere was nice in that the exposed brick walls, pipes, ductwork of the old warehouse was unique and nicely done. What I longed for the whole time I was there was more light. I kept wanting to turn on more lights but there weren’t any. I stayed in a double queen bed room and my windows faced the river. The morning sunrise is great but for the bulk of the day, it was so dark, it affected my mood and I just wanted to get out of the room. I am a bit of a sun worshipper so it may not bug you as much as it did me, but this is fair warning to you if you are. Another thing was how housekeeping left my room—the commode was not cleaned, the shower was not cleaned, there were crumbs left underneath the dining table, and I had to go get washcloths. Lastly, the parking was a problem for me. Employees usually park the furthest from the entrance at a business so I suggest you seriously consider relocating the employee parking and make your 3 lots parking structures. Seriously. Lugging luggage, a baby carrier, kids, etc. across the street in the snow/rain/wind was not fun. My experience was quite underwhelming and I probably won’t elect to stay there again.
I do have to say, the staff was nice, the amenities were very cool (I didn’t know there was a game room), and the breakfast service was AMAZING.

We stayed on the property the whole evening. Mother and daughter R&R evening. Every one of the staff members we ran into were all so friendly and very positive attitudes was very cool. The menu pricing in both Restaurants was amazingly affordable! And the food offered was wonderfully fresh, very tasty and portion sizes were large
On the Rooftop for appetizers with a wonderful view and Downstairs that evening great dinner! We were able walk directly from our table to the Riverfront Patio then to the lighted river walkway.
The only small issue was the pool did have about 35 children for echoey and extremely loud running back and forth large groups of children running and jumping from the pool to hot tub. They were definitely having agreat time. They were sweet kids tho. lol
We were just looking for a little more of a relax time but whatever they had fun.
Thanks for a great mom and daughter time together it was much needed!! Happy Valentines Day

Great stay at the Embassy Suites in Rockford! This is our go to hotel whenever we’re in town visiting friends and family. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and updated, the cook to ordered breakfast are good and the gym facilities are terrific.

I live in Chicago and my Dad moved out to Rockford recently. There aren't a ton of options for a decent hotel in the Rockford area, and this place is an absolute standout! Very nice interior and lobby, modern elevators, and very nice rooms that include two TV's if you get the suite.
I've stayed in hotels that cost twice the price, but weren't even half as nice. It's a tad pricey for Rockford, but you truly do get a quality hotel experience here.
I didn't have the breakfast, but it did include a complimentary breakfast that appears to get positive reviews, and has a cafe, two restaurants, and roof top bar attached.
I'll definitely make this a go-to when I am in Rockford to visit family.

Very nice looking hotel. Industrial modern. Staff was very nice. The only thing I’d change was that the free happy hour was less family friendly than other ES. It was in the bar area of the restaurant with no snacks and only high top seats. The pool was also super cold, but the hot tub was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.
