Homewood Suites by Hilton DecaturForsyth

Well my daughter went to get toothpaste because I forgot it and apparently you allow pets and the people left them and they somehow opened the door and pooped in the hall and as my daughter was walking by she smelled it and looked up and the dog came after her. She was running and she seen a little girl alone in the hall and then the mom in a doorway. She scooped her up and handed her to the mom and ran out the door to outside. That family helped corral the dogs and then walked her OUTSIDE to the office. The family was kicked out I guess but the baby got bit on the hand and my daughter scooped her and she got her heel nipped. She is not hurt but it was scary for her. The front desk escorted her a different elevator to go up away from the dogs.

Ask for a room nowhere near the pool! We were above it and good grief, the kids were loud!! At least it was quiet after 10pm. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay and wevwill stay again.

The room was beautiful and perfect for our family of 6. We hade a 2 bedroom reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Kids had the pool all to themselves. Pool area was clean. Hotel itself was very clean.

Great stay, friendly staff, great location. Free breakfast was also nice. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub... aside from the screaming kids in there which nobody did anything about, it was a great stay.

We come to Forsyth every year for the last 5 years and have tried two other hotels and nothing compares to Homewood Suites. Besides the cleanliness and food, the staff is what makes it feel like you are home with family.

Very nice, clean and up to date. Indoor pool is heated and the whirlpool is nice. The breakfast buffet was good quality with good selection. Helpful and friendly staff. Great place for the whole family!

Pretty frustrated!! We have been staying at this property for several years. At first it was nice, but every visit it seems to get worse! The furniture is torn up and dirty! I always find hair in the room. Once we used their pool and we couldn’t see the floor! The kids were swimming and would find random toys and items on the ground. Now the pool is just not open. The paint is all pealing up!! This last visit the breakfast looked sketchy. I went to drink our of the milk carton and it was chunky!!! My daughter said her yogurt tasted funny! It was a week past expiration! We immediately left and went to get breakfast elsewhere!!! This place is really going down hill!!!

It was by far the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No kids running up and all the halls at all times, no drunk people coming back at 2 AM slamming doors. Also the staff was very very nice in the main lobby area and dining area were very well-maintained.

Check in was simple and ALL staff were friendly, courteous and professional with great personality. We stayed when it was packed - because there were many things going on in Decatur that weekend. Suite 339 is highly recommended as it is in a corner which gives better privacy and quiet or the flip-side if you have 3 kids like we did, it can save your neighbors from hearing them :-) . Enjoy your stay!

This is the only place we prefer to stay. We have been staying at this hotel to visit family for just about five years. We have tried others around and NOTHING compares. The cleanliness, the staff, and the atmosphere is worth every cent.
