Comfort Suites Mount Vernon

Rooms were very clean. up dated bathroom was very nice. also, excellent shower. w Will being staying again when we visit family! also, great breakfast. clean and well stocked.

During a 15-hour road trip, we stayed for 1 night to split the trip into 2. We found our room to be clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom/shower very clean and relaxing with good water temperature and pressure. The breakfast buffet was great, with a wide variety of health balanced options for our whole family of 6.

The lady who checked us in was so sweet but the lady when we checked out had an attitude like she didn’t like being there. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked like a nice spread. We chose this hotel for the 24 hr pool and hot tub but never got to use either. There were A LOT of unattended children in the hot tub until at least 11pm when we finally gave up and went to bed. Children should not be in the hot tub and definitely not unattached. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.

We drove 6 hours and got to the hotel arpund 10pm. We checked in no problem. Got in pajammas and all comfy for a family of 6. The smoke alarm started chiming (needed new battery). Not wanting to up and move I called the front desk. They came right down with a battery, however they couldn't reach the alarm near the ceiling. My husband then scaled the couch to get it down. The front desk swapped the battery then had my husband press the button to "reset it" and scale the couch again. Not long after lying back down it chimed again (battery). Then we never heard it again. The place was clean and breakfast was good outside of hard biscuits.

We booked last minute and arrived around 10pm after a road trip with my family of 6. The check-in was OK, but when we went to our room, it smelled STRONGLY of pot. Our kids even commented on how bad it stunk. I went to the desk to ask for a new room. The woman at the counter offered to spray air freshener, but I asked for a new room instead. That room was adjacent to the previous one. It had a funky smell as well, but not as bad as the previous room. The comforter and pillows were decent but the bed wasn't as comfy. In the bathroom, the frame around the mirror was peeling as was part of the wall by the shower. The closet door was held shut with duct tape. The tub faucet leaked the whole time we were there. The breakfast was adequate, but minimal and cheap. The morning desk attendant was friendly and attentive. Overall, we were thankful that we were only sleeping and then leaving. We did not check out the pool area or even turned on the TV. This Comfort Suites was not worth the price we paid and did not live up to our expectations of this brand.

I can’t say enough about our stay! This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was fantastic! Even the pool and hot tub were wonderful! My children and I enjoyed our stay and we will be staying here again!

This was our second stay at this hotel. It’s in the perfect spot with plenty of eating options nearby and most importantly it is very pet friendly for our fur baby.

This is the best hotel my family ever stayed. It was very clean, the staff were highly professional and courteous, and the breakfast selections were out of this world. My family talks about how great this hotel was on a daily basis.
