Front desk elder gentleman was rude during check in and kept addressing us as “you people” right in front of the kids and gr kelt repeating himself and putting his glasses down and staring at me before even looking at my reservation. Will never come back here and do not recommend for people of color.
The other room was dirty, the bathroom had trash left in it and a dirty sanitary napkin in it, that it made the entire room smell like dead fish.

Our first night was not stellar. It began with a large group of school children checking in around 11 PM and being placed in the rooms around us. During this check-in process a key card for our room was erroneously given to someone in that group and they actually were able to open our room door. The kids were quite loud in the hallway. The next two nights were fine. We did hear the rumble of the music from the facilities around us; however, turning on the air conditioner fan was able to drown out the “thumping”. All in all our stay was fine and I probably would not hesitate to book a hotel room here again.

My body is so particular when it comes to mattresses. Most of the time I wake up all night in pain but the mattresses here are SOOOO comfortable! Slept like a baby. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was pretty good. Would recommend!

Its a nice hotel, just needed more pillows, and there was hair in bathtub, yuk. Some candy under heater, ither than that, clean, no mold like alot of places. Didnt get a chance to get in pool or eat there, we ate out at a great diner called teddys diner, i highly recommend, its on road behind thehotel, great food. The one thing i hate is that they dont make hotels with sound barriers. We were in 3rd floor in a premium room costed$200 for 1 night, and i slept 40 min totalbc the people above us were stomping when they walked, it was very loud, they were dragging trash can across bathroom floor also very noisy, and can hear them talking loud as if they were in the room, then heard base music rest of night until 7am, i had 3 hrs to drive home and no sleep, had headache. I was exhausted, and i go to hotels to relax and get peace, ebd up with kids running thru halls, doors banging, people stomping above and dropping stuff. For adults sake, somebody please build sound proof rooms, and make hotels specifically for adults. Its vacay time for most of us, weleave noise to get away from it,not to get worse when we leave. Ifim gonna pay 200 in one night i at least need peace and sleep, and someone stole our do not disturb plaquard while we were gone, shady people. All they had to do was ask for one at desk. Nice hotel, but very noisy, no sound barrier whatsoever.

I would have given 4 stars if not:
1. Only 1 person on staff during check-in/evening. Waited in 20 min line and learned it was the same for a few hours on Sat. The lady at the desk said it was normal (she was in good spirits and pleasant).
2. Restaurant/sports bar next door has loud outdoor music every night (even though no one is outside) and hotel outside walls are THIN. I called the business both nights and they turned it off, but you would think that the hotel would help find a solution as I learned it is an ongoing problem.
3. Kids are in pool area unsupervised. We were hoping to swim before checkout and found that it was closed for maintenance as someone trashed the pool the night before. Not surprising as the owner/operator does not prioritize having enough staff or a camera that works in the pool area. It was disappointing to tell a toddler that we can’t swim because the hotel does not monitor the pool area (which also never has towels).
Be willing to wait for everything, not swim, and have some general frustration at some point during your stay. Upside was - great staff, good breakfast, nice and clean room, and a safe and secure location.

Enjoyed my stay here. Clean, quiet, roomy, free parking, good breakfast, my kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We were attending Taste of Chicago so the drive there wasn’t bad.

Carpet needs a serious cleaning and cleaning isnt done till your 3rd day so i had 3 days of towels on the bathroom floor, that I asked if there was somewhere to put them. Other than that the bed was comfortable, nice and quiet, kids enjoyed breakfast

We love this hotel. It has the perfect 2 bedroom suite for our family of 5. We’ve stayed here twice and will continue to stay at this location for our visits to family in the area. Only complaint is that the indoor pool is freezing!

The friendly staff welcomed us from the start. Our room was new and had plenty of space for our family. The breakfast was wonderful as well. All around a great stay.

I tried to stay at this property with a family of 5 as listed here in Orbitz but upon arrival at 11pm, they said their rooms did not accomodate 5. I spent a very uncomfortable night trying to fit 3 adults and a 14 and 15 year old in 2 queen beds. No rollaway and no other solutions were offered just that "yeah, we know that they say that on the web site but we don't have that" the carpet was filthy and worn and buckled. Couldn't wait to leave and the management would not refund the night that had been prepaid. What a joke! Will never stay at this chain again!
