It wasn't kid friendly like suggested, it didn't satisfy our needs; we had expected a nice visit and got set back with poor customers service, and poor respect for military personel. I will never be coming to that hotel again.

Upon checkin their was a lot of kids running around the lobby area unsupervised. The staff seemed overwhelmed. They advertise a pool in pics but Don’t have one. The beds are hard and don’t have sheets, just a bunch of blankets for padding but it’s in comfy. Checked out a day early and they double charged me. Made me go through my bank for a refund! Don’t stay here.

Since it was the Hyatt Regency, I expected the property to be in better condition. Elevator needed work as far as cosmetics. Kids running in hallway. Kids playing soccer in doorway and hitting my car with a soccer ball. The couch in room was not facing the TV. Family with kids should be limited to first floor. Visitors without kids should be in top two floors. I guess it was okay for 2 days but I expected more from the brand.

The hotel was very nice! We stayed for one night and will definitely stay here again in the future. The location was just 15 min from o'hare and quiet. Just a few minutes down the street had restaurants and stores, so perfect for families!! The room itself was nice as well, however for being a hyatt it wasn't what I expected. They room has a pullout bed, however, you could feel all the springs and had no sheets. For the price as well, the breakfast cost a lot!! However, overall we really loved it here and will stay again

We were very upset by our stay at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield. We regularly visit family in Deerfield and have stayed at other large chain hotels with comparable prices that were vastly better. The facilities at the Hyatt looked like an amateur subcontractor was running the place. There were no housekeeping services. The patio outside the entrance had an overflowing trash bucket. The lighting in the room was very dim, plus one of the few lighting fixtures also had burned out bulbs. When we went to check out the dining area the evening we arrived, the breakfast menu on a card on a table was sticky and had drips of food running down it, The gentleman who greeted us in the lobby when we arrived was unpleasant. There were no phones in the room to call the "desk" which was a actually just a podium with a cash register. All the customer service information typically in a room had been removed. We only accidentally discovered that bottles of water were available on our second day there. To be fair there were staff who were pleasant when we asked for clean towels and tea bags for our room. I plan to also report our displeasure to Hyatt corporate management. We will never return to this hotel.

Room was dirty, we were put in a room that was handicap accessible, which I thought we were getting a tub room. Bathing the kids was tougher but whatever. However, the shower chair was loose and fell on one of my kids bruising and scraping him. Couch was visible dirty. Lots if dirt and dog hair, table was wiped but not clean (thank goodness I bring cleaning supplies. The remote was disgusting, you can see nasty stuff on it so we just wrapped it. Hotel was out of extra sheets which i tried to change the pull out bedding after seeing all the dirt and dog hair. Staff was ok. They looked like they didn't want to be bothered. But we did have one female staff that was nice. Microwave was GROSS and only on certain floors. Lobby was nice but once you get to the halls for the rooms, it was like an upscale old motel.

For a Hyatt for families the rooms lack a microwave, a small refrigerator, and shampoo size larger than a thimble size. I asked about sheets for the pull out couch and they acted like they dont supply them but finally they gave me some. The lobby is huge. If you are having a wedding or business conference, this place is good. The area is safe and close to everything. Its almost in the same parking lot as Walgreens Headquarters. No free breakfast. Big pool and nice gym. I'd recommend Embassy Suites across the street for the free breakfast.

Hotel was clean and nice but walls are paper thin. Took 3 kids and got a complaint for laughing too loud.
