I won’t stay here again. They were very nice to help me arrange an adjoining room for my kids as it was the last night of a long trip and just wanted everyone to sleep really well and have plenty of space before our flight out of ORD the next day Unfortunately the queen bed room REEKED of cigarettes when we arrived and the fan/AC was not effective at clearing the smell. My kids were miserable so we called down and they couldn’t move us to any 2 rooms close by each other so we just sucked it up. Then around 11:45pm when I went to go to sleep there was loud music playing which sounded like it was coming from the lobby. This continued until after 2am despite measuring the front desk (they said they turn off the music at midnight so not sure where it was coming from). Another inconvenience is that when the light in the bathroom is on it shines into the room where the beds are though a small glass insert that serves no other purpose and was really annoying. I’ve had good luck with Aloft in other locations but will not return to this one.

I booked the Aloft for my husband and son to attend a car show at the convention center. They were thrilled with its location near restaurants and walkability, in addition to the hotel and room. They reported it was also dog friendly a for this family. Will definitely book for next year's show.

Stayed with my child, booked the room for two (adult and child) and they placed me on floor two, right next to the elevators and noisy lobby. Loud music in the lobby, staff didn't know how to turn it down and didn't seem to care (night attendant.. this was at about 12 midnight).

The overall staff and cleanliness of the hotel is awesome. However it can be pretty noisy as rooms are in common area where kids are running around the corridor in Level 1 and 2. Plus points is that it’s located very near the outlet mall.

I didn't like that their were no breakfast or snack options unless you paid. The rooms had no microwaves and 1 bottle of water for a weekend stay. Also the bartender was very rude, he would not turn on the tv's to watch the football games because he didn't want our group in the lobby. We had to get our laptop to watch. He also would not let some families that were there (not part of our group) sing happy birthday with a cake to their child, he told them to go to their room.

When I called for shuttle after landing, they said it wasn’t going to come to terminal 5 because of traffic. And that if we wanted to be picked up we’d have to go to a different location. With a small child and 5 suitcases plus in the middle of a blizzard with freezing cold temperatures, trying to go outside and to s different terminal wasn’t an option. As a result, it took us over 4 hours to get an Uber and arrive at the hotel that was 1 mile away. I reserved a shuttle for the next morning. When we came down another family took it right in front of us leaving us to wait a half hour for the next one. We ended up missing our flight. Because of that we were then put on a different flight later in the day and had to pay $400 for luggage because that particular airline had different baggage rules than our original flight

Great location for food or a night out drinking with friends, safe for family or female traveler to stay alone.
Hotel shuttle bus is available, but need to call the hotel for it, if your arrival is at the International terminal.

When we checked in & went to our room someone had taken the phone & the mirror on the bathroom sliding door was broken. After letting them know the quickly got a phone in our room. They didn’t switch us rooms tho even tho the mirror broken was safety hazard & we have small children.

This was a one and done hotel. It was hard to access, and find the correct parking in the parking garage. Once we got into the hotel and I attempted to check in I was told since my wife made the reservation for myself and my daughter that they would have to refund the deposit and re charge everything to my credit card which I have never had happen before, but I figured it that was the worst thing that happened it would be ok, but that was far from it. We finally got into our room and it was extremely musty, and the AC unit barely kept the room cool, the carpet was sticky, and there was a bird feather in the room… not sure about that one. The hotel was sold out for a convention in the area.
Checkout was marked as noon, and on the day of checkout we were in bed in the morning and heard a very faint tap. I was not sure what it was and my daughter woke me up and asked if it was someone knocking. We both got out of bed and headed to the door and before we could get there the door was pushed wide open with a person asking what time we planned on checking out! This was around 8:30am with noon checkout. No apologies from the housekeeping staff at all. I went and told the front desk what happened and their solution was removing the parking fee and offering free breakfast. As the title says I will not be back at this hotel. They were definitely more concerned with their corporate guests than families.
