Considering we had our flight cancelled at 11pm and got stuck overnight, I was extremely exhausted traveling with my 2 young children I was extremely pleased to have found such a wonderful hotel last minute and with it being cold we did not have the proper attire to be out. It was especially wonderful to have the beautiful heated pool area! Buffet was really good with great service. Love the shuttle service option to the airport and the bed and room were extremely comfortable! Highly recommend!!!

We liked the hotel, however there was a problem with our room and we didn't realize it until it was too late. The pull out bed didn't work. They offered to switch us but we checked in so late and it was super late when we went to bed and was getting up early to leave. The housekeeping staff came to try and they couldn't either. I was a little disappointed as we were planning on using that bed for my child. I asked the hotel to respond and have not heard from them. I also didn't appreciate the additional 45 dollar parking fee. I thought that was a bummer. They didn't need to charge it.

The stay was frustrating to say the least. Everything was ok until we are at dinner Monday night and I got an email thanking me for my stay. Our reservation was clearly for 4 nights and we called the hotel to find out we’d been checked out. In a panic, we rushed back to the hotel IN THE MIDDLE OF DINNER, to luckily straighten things out. Alyssa (not sure how to spell her name) worked things out with us. The next 2 days though we had to get our parking revalidated, which was inconvenient. The last night we were there, our kids were asleep at 9:30pm and the front desk called to inform us the engineer we requested was at our door. We didn’t request and engineer and the kids were awoken. Despite these issues, the hotel is nice and is in a good location. It’s conveniently located next to the Cumberland blue line train station.

Room size was ok. Front lobby is beautiful. Access to blue line is unbeatable. But room amenities were subpar. The pull out sofa mattress was ridiculous. I slept with the kids on the floor coz it was actually more comfortable than the pull out. My husband slept on the “king” bed which is the same size as our queen bed at home. The inroom coffee was dreadful. I expected a lot more from this hotel but they clearly utilize six sigma methodology to cut costs but unfortunately also slash on quality.
