Quick family trip to Chicago to see a Broadway show. Hotel was within an easy walking distance to the theater, as well as many great restaurants.
Rooms were spacious. Beds could always be a bit softer, but nothing is ever like home :) Evening was quiet, despite a very busy hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in our suite! The complementary drinks and snacks were a hit! Check in took awhile and parking was rather expensive. But overall a great stay! Was in a good location too to walk to places.

My family and I love the breakfast and happy hour. The room was clean and the staff were magnificent. They were all so happy and willing to help. My family and I will be back again!

Nice big rooms in a good location. The downside of that is that there were so many people in the hotel! Lots of families. The staff at breakfast worked their butts off but the crowds (and we were there at a slower time) overwhelmed the staff. There was no host at breakfast so everyone had to fend for themselves to find a spot to sit. Breakfast was typical buffet stuff along with an omelet station which had a huge line of at least 40 people waiting and I think there was only one or two people working the omelet station.
The other complaint is that there was always a pretty long wait for elevators that were often packed with people once the doors opened.
Otherwise it was a nice, clean hotel in a good safe location.

The area of the hotel is great but that is about the only thing they have going for them. The room was somewhat clean but had a giant sticky stain on the floor that was in a spot you HAD to walk on in front of the bathroom, so it was nearly unavoidable. Not sure how the cleaning crew missed it. I had to keep a wash cloth over it just so my sock or shoe wouldn’t touch it and get stuck to the ground. It was disgusting. The snacks available during happy hour were cold, and not serviced by anyone, so kids rummaged through it with their hands. The woman bartender is extremely rude, unfriendly, and unapproachable; I was hoping she had an off night but it continued the remainder of our stay. To make matters worse, the fire alarm in our room went off randomly at 1am while we were all sound asleep and wouldn’t stop, forcing us to call over and over but ended up having to call another number on the room phones, but can’t remember who unless I see the button, and someone answered on that line. Lastly, staff was HORRIBLE. No one answered the phones, when I finally walked downstairs to the lobby, the employee was asleep behind the wall (this also happened to my dad on another occasion), and to top it off, the security guard that came up for the fire alarm at 1am was extremely unpleasant and rude amongst our middle-of-the-night wake up call. 4/10 experience & the only 4 points are coming from the location of the hotel and their ~only~ good worker, the kind woman in the gift shop, Candy.

It was amazing. The suite was more than comfortable enough for my family. The kids really liked the snacks and the breakfast. I will definitely be coming back

Our room was dirty right away and so loud. It was suppose to be me and my boyfriend first visit there to chicago and we saved up to visit there but the fridge came with a pop in it already, kids were running around the hallways till 3am, the elevator ran till i dont even know when, i called for clean towels they took the dirty round but never brung the clean ones. I dont understand why it was expensive with the name you all should have represented better.. The best part was the bartender at night who made delivered service with a smile. I couldnt beleive how diraty the room was, there was holes in the walls, the bathroom decor looked like something you see in a low under budget motel. I cant believe how much I paid.

My kids and I love the Embassy Suites and we really enjoyed this one. The pool is a bit small - long in lengths but very narrow. The hotel is very conveniently located. The evening reception is nice. They even have a little Shirley Temple station for the kids. Breakfast is good, but very busy.

I had a great stay at the embassy suites. The employees were are very friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the walls are very thin between rooms. So if you have, let’s say a crying infant, a screaming toddler and a yelling Mom- you may hear it all in the middle of the night! But honestly, everything aside from that was absolutely amazing!
