Travelodge by Wyndham Unadilla

First room “smelled like a dirty dog”, as my grandchildren said. I went to the front desk and she gave me another room.

They gave out adjoining room that I reserved months ago to someone else. We had to travel down highway at 11:00pm to try and find another place after driving for 14 hours with 4 kids!! Ridiculous!!!

Nice family owned and operated hotel and not expensive but, worth every single penny.

We stayed here on the way home from Florida. I picked this place because it had really good reviews. We had two rooms for our family. Room 135 smelled absolutely horrible. A really bad smoke smell and we booked non smoking rooms. And then we used the microwave to cook our dinner and the microwave smelled like someone had cooked urine in it or something. I literally vomited. The carpet and beds seemed new, but the bed I slept in had a really bad smell of food. It also didn't feel like a safe area. At check in, the front dest person is behind glass, which I have never seen in a hotel check in before. Outside our room it smelled strongly of weed and the other clientele were outside cooking and swearing. I had to usher my small kids inside quickly so they didn't hear the f word said repeatedly. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all with the bad smells and not feeling safe.

This was a great place for my family to stay for the night. I’d stay here again.
