Best Western Colonial Inn

The staff was great and also gave me clear directions on where to park and how to find my room. This is a very convenient location between my home state and where my family lives in FL. I plan to stay here again in the future.

It was a great and convenient place to stay for the night, as we were traveling through to Orlando. We reserved two rooms for the night, and both rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind. The pool area was nice, and large. A very nice space, especially if you have kids. You don’t have to worry about them running into people in a small space. Lots of room, and the pool was large and very spacious. The only issues we had were dealing with the gnats. They were everywhere surfing the pool and hotel. Not sure if it had to do with the humidity there, but it did make hanging out at the pool hard. My boys didn’t mind, however it did bother those who were not in the pool. It also sucked loading and u loading the car with all the gnats around. Another issue was in the lobby, during breakfast. The air conditioner broke, therefore eating breakfast was miserable. It was already 90 degrees outside, and the inside temp was above 80 degrees. Trying to eat comfortably wasn’t an option for us. It was miserable eating breakfast and sweating. They did have someone there to fix it by the time we checked out, and it was out of the hotels control on how hot and uncomfortable it was in the lobby, but overall, it was a nice convenient place to stay for the night. We will be staying again when we travel through GA to get to Orlando.

I have stayed a few times and never had an issue however this time was different. Knowing I had a pet they put me on the opposite side of the pet area. I was traveling alone with two small children and a dog. I then left early the next morning and left my children’s swimsuits hanging in the bathroom. Upon realizing the following day I called and was rudely told by Kathy that they didn’t have them or housekeeping didn’t see them. Well, considering my kids swim in the pool and I don’t have them today at my Family’s house I’m visiting. I know I left them there. So they were stolen by their staff and I was offered no explanation. Will not ever recommend it stay at again.

Horrible it was clean then i saw bug traps everywhere in the room that was disgusting. We had a conjoined room and the people that ended up next to ours kept trying to open the door. After they realized we were in the room they finally shut theres. We made a Barricade so hopefully they wouldnt get in if they tried again. Well they left the room for 2 hours and the whole time there dog barked loudly this was all at 9:30 at night. They finally came back and it got super quiet until 2 in the morning when you could hear kids and people yelling and running and slamming doors. The bed was horrible you lay down and juat sink right into the bed it was awful. You could smell cigarette smoke as well.

Our family stops here every year during our holiday trips down south. The place is always clean, the staff is great and they welcome our pet without any hassle.

The property looks nice online and had good reviews, this was the reason we picked it. That was where the good stopped. Arrived late and had to check in through a window, could not go to the desk. When we went to the room, we found it to be very outdated, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, very small bathroom, stains on the drapes to the porch, did not feel very clean and just overall not great. I opened the door to the hallway to check it out since we came in through the outside porch initially and had to lift up and then shove it closed with my shoulder because it did not line up to the frame. This appears to be an old motel that had a face lift on the lobby/entrance area but not much more. We ended up not staying and went to another hotel in town. If you are not with your family and want a cheap place to sleep, probably OK if you don't have many expectations. If you're looking for somewhere that your family can be comfortable, this would not be the best choice.

This place was clean, nice staff. The breakfast selection was hot fresh and delicious. The price was reasonable. From now on my family and I will never stay at any other places.

Very friendly staff and clean location. Lots of holiday decorations for whatever the closest holiday is whenever we stay. Very family friendly.

Overall very clean, no odors or bad surprises. The bathroom has a vent but does not really suck air out so you need to implement courtesy flushes 😉. We were in a room in front so we could hear the road but it wasn’t terrible, my family slept well.

The staff was Amazing! Debbie, Melissa, Dee, and Ashley and the housekeepers and the maintainer men were very friendly and accommodating! I will be back for my family reunion next year Labor Day weekend!
