We LOVED Queens Court! The location is simply unbeatable -- you're literally across the street from great restaurants and shops, including several that offer Queens Court lodgers a discount. The pier is less than a 5-minute walk, and the motel offers free parking! All this at about a third (no kidding) of the price of other hotels on St. Simons. The rooms are clean and have nice conveniences like a microwave, good-sized fridge, and Keurig. The rooms are a bit on the small side (for the US) and a little lacking in storage, like a dresser or shelves, but ours was just fine for a couple who only had one suitcase each. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our housekeeper said she liked working there because they pay good money, which I appreciated. We also enjoyed the lovely pool surrounded by live oaks draped in Spanish Moss. It's a peaceful, charming setting, and we loved the 1940s vibe. Bottom line: If you're looking for massive, luxurious resort-style accommodations or a party-hearty location, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a local business that provides a clean, quiet, comfortable place for a couple or family to stay in a FANTASTIC location and that appears to have strong relationships with their employees and other local businesses, stay here! We will definitely be back on our next visit to St. Simons.

This was the perfect hotel for our family, with a queen bed and two doule beds, our kids didn't have to share a bed. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of some things, and definite short driving distance of others. We have decided that this will be our stop off on our way to South Florida.

I loved the location...walking distance to pier..restaurants..stores..staff was great..friendly and available...room was clean...bed comfortable..bathroom area very small..shower only..small..we were on 2nd floor...stairs very steep...would not recommend for families with small kids... traffic noise was horrible..loud..late into night...1:00 am... started back around 4:30 am...parking was not convenient at hotel...small area in back...parked in front on main street public parking....it was clean...staff great..just to much noise..

I really love to stay at Queens due to the proximity to the village, pier, shopping and dining. We literally just walk across the street to it all and the beach is just down the road. For Queens Court to be 74 years old, it is extremely clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed the spacious family room with 3 beds. Will definitely be back.

Best thing about the queens court is the location, which is great for walking to the pier, lighthouse, and Mallory Street. It is however just an old motel that has been gussied up a bit with retro Florida beach decor. Our two rooms had small bathrooms with nowhere to put toiletries, and the rooms had no good place to lay open a suitcase except a small luggage rack or on your bed. Just two hangers in our closet. Housekeeping did not refill our keurigs...had to go ask at the front desk. Bed not particularly comfortable as it is on a platform rather than box springs. It was ok for our purposes (a quick family reunion), but I can't see staying there for a week at the beach....there would have been no place to hang towels, wet swimsuits etc. Also not really walking distance to a beach. Appreciated the free parking though.
