Best Western Plus Lake Lanier/gainesville Hotel & Suites

The property is very clean and the staff was pleasant. This place is both pet and kid friendly, so therefore if you're looking for peace and quite you may want to go elsewhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay would recommend it to families and pet owners. Restaurants and shopping is within walikng distance.

Traveled with kids, was an unexpected stay, and very last minute! I'm so glad they had availability as im not familiar with Georgia at all! Upon arrival the hotel was definitely nice (considering what we had left from prior, Helen GA). Overall I'd definitely recommend this place (with or without kids). I cant speak on the breakfast as we slept passed that but judging off the the stay and the cleanliness of the place, I'm sure the breakfast was good! I will add that we didn't have blankets or pillows for the pullout couch but we managed and made it work! It was a Great overnight stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We were visiting family for Christmas and the location was perfect. Being pet friendly was a plus and was less expensive than our pet sitter at home. The breakfast was very good. The front desk desk clerk, Demi was very welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. We will definitely stay at Best Western Plus in Oakwood again in the future!

Always walk in to a very welcoming atmosphere where the staff treat you like family and call you by name when they see a familiar face. Always impressed with the cleanliness and amazing front desk and housekeeping staff.

There were eight of us family members getting together for the first time in a long time. Your location was central to travel for several of us and one person had already been to your area so were good guides. The hotel fit our needs perfect with ample parking, breakfast, and an exercise room. We had a room with a bedroom and kitchen so everyone could come to our room and visit until late. Everything went smooth and hope to return for another visit. Would stay here again.

Convenient location, appearance ok. Breakfast was good and with enough options. The problem was with the room: (1) The carpet was dirty not well vacuumed (2) The sofa bed was broken (3) There was a very bright spot light on the outside aiming almost directly to the window. Even with the blackout curtains, light came across the edges as if it was daylight. We had to hang a bed cover around it to filter more light. After driving a lot, you need a comfortable night. We were not told that the sofa bed was broken and we relied on it as a family of 5. When we tried to set it up, after moving a marble covered table in front of it that weighted a ton (who offers a sofa bed option with a so heavy table in front of it!), we discovered it was broken and had no mattress. I went to the front desk to ask for a solution. The guy there was friendly and attentive and said it was his fault not telling us that the sofa bed was broken (a guest broke it 1 month before). There were no room options as it was fully booked. He tried to solve it giving some bed sheets and a foam cover for the sofa. My son slept there. Not the most comfortable sleep but was ok. Also, be aware of the very hard marble surfaces and sharp furniture edges around the room. On checkout, a lady (friendly also) said that they must have told us and she was unable to give any refund/cupon as it was Expedia booked. Hotel as a whole was ok, staff is friendly, but if you ever go there, never accept room 209!

My family stays at the Best Western every family reunion. Hotel smells so nice & beds are heavenly. Staff are genuinely nice, quick check in/out & took care of us. Last year breakfast was in brown bags due to Covid. This year the breakfast buffet, coffee/beverages were delish. Pet/friendly. Hotel Remarkably Fragrantly Very Clean.
