Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Midtown

Besides being an amazing place to stay, we had an unexpected family emergency and had to leave a day early. We booked through a third party and I feared it was goi g to be a huge hassle getting a refund. The hotel staff assisted us to ensure we were taken care of and were very sympathetic to our situation. I will definitely remember them the next time I am in town.

Saturday 03-09-24 worst night we ever have… We were with our kids and we can’t sleep because at around midnight the next room was making lot it noise (having sex) my wife decided to call to the front desk but they didn’t do anything to avoid this,around 1:00am she went downstairs and keep complaining about the inconvenience but they answered was that maybe she was upset because the type of noise,but if it was another noise,maybe she doesn’t complaints about it..thats was not respectful answer..They said security was on the floor but that’s mot true,because my wife was outside waiting for them and nobody showed.. she explain that we are there to rest well not to hear that type pf noise,that’s not a motel. The noise finish at 4:30am..that’s unacceptable….

I highly recommend this property!! Day and night the staff were exceptional! Lamont, Officer Evans, the gentleman that was there during the day both days (I wish I’d have gotten his name), and Mrs.Arlene at the Starbucks counter were all more pleasant than I can explain! The were professional, friendly, and positive. They made sure we felt at home and were taken care of. My family and I have found us a new place to stay any time we go to Atlanta. The property was both clean and safe, which are very important characteristics in a hotel. Definitely give them a try!

We stayed here for game at Mercedes Benz stadium with our 2 kids. Hotel was super clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids slept on pull out couch which was new and not disgusting like most hotel pullout couches are. Was about a 20 min walk to stadium, but not bad. Overall, enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

I like the rooms, but the lamps were not cozy, gave room an office look with beds. Love, love bed and pillows. Did not like selections for tv viewing, and not enough for younger kids. Location was ok. Didn’t like looking into residential apartments. No, microwave in room. Asked for a particular view off street, could not get, because no queen beds face that street only kings. Could not change, because of third party reservations. Bathroom sink was nice, but every use water from faucet kept making a water mess. Rooms were very clean, halls clean, common areas clean. We did enjoy ourselves.

It is a typical kind downtown hotel, so need to pay parking fee ($37) and breakfast (around $15) daily. They reluctantly say these separated spending or even want to hide from reservation page. Also there isn’t any pool and bathtub but I remember their pictures regarding amenities have this pics. And the staff, she didn’t know exactly how much they will charge security deposit, so I was surprised when they charged $347 and denied from my card company. Overall, I was little bit uncomfortable for my family.
