Great trip with kids. Very kids friendly amenities, water slide, arcade, beach chairs and towels provided. The utensils in kitchen could be a little better but other than that fantastic place to stay witith kids on the beach

We love the pool area with the slide and tiki bar. Did not like that they didn’t have DJ on at least the weekend or activities for the kids like they used too.

I liked the rooms. they were huge. As we have small kids, the bigger room was a big plus. The kitchen was good but needed some more utensils. Another plus point for the hotel was the pool and the beach. It is literally on the beach. So, for families, this hotel is a great place to stay. I didn't like the carpet on the floor. Due to the carpet there was a little bit of smell of the cleaning materials. Though this didn't bother much. But definitely a tiled floor in all areas would feel better, in my opinion.

I always enjoy staying at this property the staff is very welcoming and friendly and very helpful. My family and I arrived 3 hrs earlier then check in and they still accommodate us as we waited for our room and let us know the min it was ready. They checked on us everyday making sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing location, kids loved the pool slide, but paper thin walls and elevator not working. The good: Daytona Regency is at a great location, in the heart of Daytona beach. It has a great entertainment room, as well as a nice pool. Kids absolutely loved the slide! Pool bar is also great with two amazing bartenders. The bad: One elevator is out of service. This is temporary, but it was an annoyance. We ended up using the stairs most of the time as the wait was sometimes more than 10min. The ugly: the walls in the rooms are paper thin. We could hear our upstairs neighbors’s TV, as well as copulation and arguments of our next door neighbors (not pleasant, especially when you’re on a family vacation and kids could hear it all, too).

We were overall happy with our stay! It was our first time truly traveling with our infant and we reserved a one bedroom unit so that we could have a separate sleeping space from him. Having never done that before, I was expecting the bathroom to connect to the main living area and for us to have to sleep on the pull out couch in order to have access to that at night (I’m currently 7 months pregnant so this was a priority). We were pleasantly surprised to see the bathroom connects to both the main living area and the bedroom, so we got to sleep on the nice, comfy bed! There was also a separate door to the balcony from the bedroom so we could enjoy coffee out there before our kiddo woke up. So nice! The only complaint was that the pool heater seemed to be broken… made it almost unusable but we did attempt a short polar plunge!

I do not recommend this property! I booked 4 night stay with my family. The kids looked forward to stay there. The day of check-in, the airline canceled our flight because of the weather conditions.we felt homeless and disappointed. I promised my kids a nice four day vacation during winter break. I broke that that promise. It was beyond my control. I had to cancel everything, the plane tickets, the car rental the parking lot at the airport and the hotel. Everyone understood the situation that we were in and canceled our booking with the exception of the hotel Daytona beach regency. The hotel management decided to keep the full amount $764.69. This is theft pure and simple.

Perfect location right on the beach and close to the pier, stores, restaurants etc. Big, 1-bedroom apt with kitchen, big sofa bed and two balconies. Friendly and helpful staff. Free indoor parking. Great pool area. Pool table and shuffle board in activity room. This was overall just a perfect place for a family vacation.
