Great location is my compliment. Otherwise: Parking was cramped. When we arrived there was nobody at the front desk. There was no bell to ring for service . We had to wait. There was no air conditioning in the lobby. It was hot and frustrating to check into this hotel. Hotel needs updating. There are eight floors and only two small elevators. I didn’t measure the size but would guess them to be about 3 ft x 5 ft. The load is two people or one family per elevator. The breakfast area did not have air conditioning and it was too hot to eat in there. The hot breakfast items not stocked and therefore my family did not feel satisfied. I implore this hotel to update and hire more staff.

upon arrival, Jeff or Jeffrey checked us in. He was the most condescending, unhelpful and arrogant human I've ever come across. They had multiple bookings that were beyond my knowledge and he steadily would rolled his eyes and tell me that "it was my problem, you'll just have to pay the fees and expedia would have to handle it". Would not tell me any itinerary numbers, would not assist to figure out the booking issues, and acted like I was a complete waste of his time. He snatched my credit card and began to run it without explaining what he was about to charge. This was a problem as the room had been paid for upfront and I did not have a car attached to this room. When I asked for my card back he yelled at me saying he was charging me for parking and placing a hold on the account. He would not allow me to explain WE HAD NO CAR. I had to ask for a manager and he tried to stay next to her to continue his escapade of horrible attitude and eye rolls. Really started a family vacation off wrong. HORRIBLE customer service. Horrific experience.
There is a bar on one side of the hotel that gets rowdy at night, so if you have littles, ask to stay on the left side of the hotel.
They have a parking fee of $15.99 a night but not enough parking spaces to accommodate every customer. So, you have to pay their parking fee and $30/night to park across the street in an off site lot. The 3 other rooms we had at this hotel that had cars had to pay this.
Subpar truly.

The hotel staff was awesome! From the front desk, Nicole Hayes, to Asst General Mgr, Suzanne Scowden, as well as the maintenance man, Ken, all were very helpful and accommodating! We had a family reunion and we stayed four nights. We were given access to a meeting room for playing games and daily gathering. I did have an issue in my room, which was immediately resolved by Ken and Suzanne. One concern I had was with the tile floors in our room which were not very clean. The breakfast was ok. I would recommend they add fresh fruit and more variety. Overall, our stay was great.

The cleanest hotel we’ve ever had been in Florida. It’s a renovated building and it’s pretty nice. Pool was cold, but everything was well maintained and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The only thing that I believe they could have prioritize is the beach access, that was destroyed by the hurricane. We had to turn around the block, not far, but the neighborhood is still looking like a construction site due to the storm. Boardwalk had a lot of homeless people and whole families smoking weed. But it’s not the hotel’s fault. So I just enjoyed the beach. And it was great!

Just a quick over nighter with the kids and wife to play in the surf and attend a bird show.

We had a very clean room with a balcony that overlooked both the city and the beach. It was amazing.
The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the bar. Ocean Deck was a welcomed dinner and lunch experience for the entire family. Breakfast at the hotel was also very filling. We'd definitely stay again if in Daytona Beach.
