We would for sure stay here again. We felt very welcome. The front desk employees were very family. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only complaint was our tub looked dirty.

Other than employee who checked us out (they where great) afternoon staff that check us in not pleased with professionalism (except manager) took forever to refund incidentals, as I had to contact Hilton directly charged twice for parking offsite? Hot tub wasn’t working until I adjusted timer, was told it hadn’t been working since Covid. Had to clean out debris and an exuberant amount of insects out of hot tub. Had to fix the outside shower as it was not working either. Limited parking on site due to construction workers, taking up parking spots with cones, causing my family to park across the street of a busy highway and paying for parking because I was told that there was a specific parking area inside the gated area that I needed to park in. Not pleased with stay, will not recommend. For a doubletree/hilton not impressed as I have stayed in hotels on 3 continents.

Absolutely unclean. The dust was excesive. My kids and I had asthma attack as well as dust mites bites and rash

My family's stay at DoubleTree St. Augustine from New Year's Eve to January 4th was a disaster. The service was terrible and the room was dirty, including a persistently clogged sink that staff ignored despite our complaints. We paid a high price for this neglect. To make matters worse, they mishandled clothing we left behind, returning it incomplete and keeping a valuable black blazer. This experience was a total letdown.

I choose to stay at this hotel upon my friend’s recommendation, she stayed at this hotel about a year ago and loved it! I guess things had changed since…
The room we stayed in had sooooo much dust you can’t even imagine ( an a/c unit had an inch layer of dust, carpet was nasty and bathtub had long dark hair in it! Room service is by request only and we kept on forgetting to request it a night before, and a funny thing was that someone still went into the room to change trash bags and bring towels but they left the rest as it was.
All 4 of us got really bad cough after our stay due to all the dust.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone especially people with asthma or allergies. Not good for children either.

There was a terrible seeage smell on the first floor. My daughter almost threw up because it was so bad. We couldnt go near the elevators, pool, or restaurant. Our family had to take the baxk stairs to get to our room. The smell was threw out the hallways. It was one of the worse things Ive had at a Hilton.

Great for family stay, we loved that the outdoor pool was heated! Be adviced that going downtown isn't easy (far to walk with kids, shuttel from hotel (5$/p) as expensive as parking downtown (20$ )) and that the parking at the hotel is not included ( 23$) although there is no other alternative.

Our son and family live in Saint Augustine and we visit them a couple times a year, in fact they live just 1 mile away on foot so that is covenant except the hotel charges for everything. For us to pay what we feel is a higher then average per night fee which we are willing to do for a nice clean room, but then charging us per day for parking, then you offer no secure internet, and charge us for faster internet we find troubling and this is probably a deal breaker for next time which should be around March.

First of all, there were patrons playing music so loud, other patrons were hitting the wall and yelling “shut up!” It kept my kids awake. The room had a musty smell, and the bed was hard. Not a luxury mattress, which I expect from Hilton. It looked clean, but the smell made me feel that it was dirty. The musty smell was probably mold because it bothered my sinuses. Also, the air conditioner was so loud, I couldn’t sleep, even after the hotel staff made the partiers turn off their music (at 2 am!) because of the loud air conditioner. Two nights was not worth the $736 I paid. Terrible stressful 2 nights. I felt like I was sleeping at a much lower star hotel.
The hotel staff were very nice and polite and the restaurant/bar was beautiful, which is why I didn’t rate it lower.
