AC Hotel Clearwater Beach

Perfect place to stay with your family

I stayed on this beautiful hotel! It was for a business trip but, don't be fooled the place is beautiful and the hotel employees really nice, I did see a few families with kids and I would totally stay with my family if I go to Clearwater Beach again, a few minutes walk to the beach and I didn't feel I needed a car. Breakfast in not included with the stay but the selection they have for the breakfast was awesome. The woman in charge of the breakfast buffet was so nice caring shane I didn't get her name.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a quick getaway. We were met by valet who was friendly and then I took the elevator to the 5th floor to the lobby to check in while he got out car situated. There was no one was there to greet me for about 5 minutes and just as my patience started to wear thin from a long travel day Stephanie appeared and got us checked in and went over the details. I liked the overall decor of the hotel including our bay facing room. There was a small fridge inside with complimentary water which was a nice touch. Just outside our room was the ice/water machine which was great because I was able to refill my water bottle and the machine dispensed the ice pellets that I like. The hotel was conveniently located to many restaurants, the beach, the pier, many shops- it was great! We only had to use our car once and that was to drive to Tampa. The hotel was pretty quiet even though there were a few kids there. There is bar inside that we never got around to going to, there is also a rooftop situation that we went to check out but didn't stay because there was no view. We did spend some time at the pool but it is very small with limite seating so we didn't stay long. The truffle fries and drinks we got while we were there were good though. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at a conveniently located hotel that had a friendly staff.

I enjoyed my stay here during Mothers Day weekend with my family. The only not so great thing was the housekeeping. I had to call to request towel/washcloth change outs and for the trash to be taken out during our two night stay. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice and clean. The location was great as well! We may be back next year! The receptionist during our check out gave me more information about the Marriot membership program that I’ll be using to book my future stays! Thanks! Alakia Williams

hotel has only been open approx 6 weeks, never notified that there's a hotel under construction directly in front that completely blocks any view of the gulf. Not to mention the noise in the morning! We paid extra to have a balcony, they couldn't even fit a couple chairs. The check-in staff were great, told us the rooftop bar was a must-see, it was closed every single night, rained or shine. The pool bar was also always closed, even when it was sunny, they said due to being short staffed. The photos aren't accurate. The walls are thin, babies crying, and the hallway stunk as they left a soiled diaper in the garbage bin that no one changed. We relied on TV and its ability to stream Netflix etc because of all the rain - then that stopped working. They sent up their "technician" who just unplugged the TV router & plugged back in, he told me this happens all the time and the company who installed it never fixes it. All he ended up doing was screwing up the cable, now every channel said "no information". He said he'd email the company about the streaming and laughed that they won't respond for a few days. Called him back to fix the channels he said would go back to normal & never did. He came back saying "what's wrong with the TV now?" attitude. And still couldnt fix the problem he caused anyway. Hotel has no entertainment otherwise. Just a few books, part of decor. The staff were mostly very friendly. Don't stay here.

Really nice new hotel that is really close to the Clearwater beach access areas. Only downfall is you have to pay for valet parking everyday which adds a little bit more each day. Pool was nice but small if your looking to do stuff with family or kids. Staff was super friendly and helpful to get you dinner ideas, beautiful sunset areas etc.

I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good vacation time with the family or friends
