This is a beautiful property, the staff is extremely friendly, it’s very artsy and has all the necessities. There are several delicious restaurants within 0-10 minutes walking. The beach is a 5 minute walk. I would definitely come here again, and I’d recommend to all my friends and family as well.

This isn’t a kid friendly hotel. We had to fight for a crib and the hotel fees are hidden when we book with Hotels.com, so price showed isn’t real at all

Esme Miami Beach Hotel locks out guests half an hour or possibly more before check-out, which is at 11AM. Your room key is canceled around 10:30; might be earlier, I just tried to get back to my room around that time. At a rate of ~$220/day, that comes to ~$9 for my family (two rooms, half an hour each, 1/24 x $220). Hotel Management, please use the $9 you wrongfully acquired to pay the hotel stuff better and motivate them so they have integrity about the job they do. Having someone at the front desk say "your card actually got demagnetized; it's not the hotel's fault" is probably not a good idea when all 4 keys for 2 rooms get "demagnetized" at the exact same time. Then a manager comes and says something to the fact that "yes, we are aware of the problem with the system canceling the keys early but there is nothing we can do about it. Good buy and I don't care if you come visit us again".

We stayed here for NYE weekend. This was my 2nd trip to Miami Beach. I liked the hotel, but I did have some concerns which I typically wouldn't post about online. We were in a room along Espanola Way, which was very noisy at night (especially NYE, which was almost unbearable). If you have a baby or something, this might not be a great choice as a hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and nice to us as guests. Housekeeping was a little on the slow side and did not come one day. Additionally, we found some other guest's clothing tucked away near the safe that housekeeping must have missed from a previous stay. Beds were "ok". You can use your phone or laptop to stream Netflix, etc, which was nice. The pool area is nice, but a little on the tiny side. There are not that many lounging chairs directly next to the pool. So if you get there late you are out of luck. We ate once on the roof. Ambiance was nice, food was "so so". We really enjoyed that we could walk a few blocks to the beach and get set up pretty quickly with chairs and towels. It's $21.00 or so a day if you want to use an umbrella. All and all it was a nice experience, but we probably wouldn't go out of our way to stay here again. The price just made sense in comparison to some other hotels in the area which had exorbitant prices.
