The staff was relatively courteous. However, the room smelled with stale curry. The cent was rather strong and a bit overbearing. However, since we stayed only one night and had a baby, we decided to bear with it for the night and following morning. I made sure to let he front desk know at checkout. Disapponted. Next time, If we are to guest at this hotel, I will certainly not tolerate such disgusting ordor. Disapponted.

I called the day before, telling the hotel I would be arriving on a late flight and checking in late (11:30pm) with my family including extremely young children, and to please not give away or sell my room, I was assured that my booking was safe and that I would be able to check in, they told me they put a special note on my booking. Sure enough, when I arrived at 11:45pm, I was turned away. And had to find other accomodations.

The property wasn’t well maintained. It was dark, as many of the old-school fluorescent bulbs were burnt out. The thermostat in the room didn’t work because the multi-core wire that leads to it was in a heap under the A/C unit. The painting in the bathroom honestly looked amateurish, as if someone’s teenage kid was told to paint it and they just weren’t into it. There were stains throughout the room, even on the lamp in the first room I was in. I had two rooms due to a booking mixup (not their fault) and each room was similar in terms of the issues, so it wasn’t just the one room I had. The lamps are covered in the same material that grade school teachers use to create borders on bulletin boards, you know the stuff: the corrugated paper. I think that the original material became too stained and they thought gluing it over (poorly) with this garbage would suffice. Again, it looks amateurish and does not live up to the Marriott reputation. The first room I had also had a shower that wouldn’t drain, even after a few hours. They also don’t have a backup generator. I know this because the power went out at night, trapping someone in the elevator and requiring the fire department to come and free her. This just wasn’t up to par and it wasn’t cheap. It lacked basic security features, such as a peephole cover on the door and I found my patio slider unlocked even though I never went out and made sure that it was locked. I told the front desk about stuff, but it went unresolved.

We chose this hotel because it’s close to family. The hotel is great, the front staff is more than friendly and always helpful! The rooms are huge and comfortable! House cleaning were nice and always gave us extras when we asked for soap…. There’s a mall - coral square - about 5 min away by car and Whole Foods, McDonald within walking distance.

The woman at the front desk was rude and inconsiderate. Made us wait to see if there would be a room for one more night as we were evacuating from the hurricane area, just to tell us to look for her after her shift was done. We couldn’t find her anymore. She also came to rudely ask us to move our motorhome(told us to move it to a parking lot that wasn’t even the hotel’s), we had issues with the gym next door because of that. She was Indian. We had two kids and it was a traumatic experience for us to have to leave our homes, her attitude didn’t help.

Let's just say- there was a team of kids in the hotel not being controlled. Bed was comfortable but sleep was not easy with that. The place could use updating- some paint, carpet, for the money you are paying.

Carpets filthy in hallways, ants in my family member’s room. Trash receptacles in hallways overflowing with garbage. So much garbage that garbage was piled up around the can, on the floor. The front desk was friendly, helpful, all around wonderful. The rooms were clean.
