Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milford

Expedia was really the one who screwed me over, not the hotel. Hotel was average. The AC in the room kept switching to heat, which was odd. The location has nothing scenic about it, but I guess I expected that. Pool was nice. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. They did switch my ground floor room for the second floor without question, which made me feel better as a single mom traveling with kids. Overall, decent. We would stay here again, but I’ll never book through Expedia again. Huge mistake.

My family loves to stay at this hotel we've been coming down from Pennsylvania for the last 3 years. It's only a 25 minute drive to Rehoboth Beach but the rates are much cheaper. We love the quietness and cleanliness and proximity to many dining options. Grotto Pizza and Buffalo Wild Wings are right there in the same parking lot basically. You have the Royal Farms gas station and convenience store on the other side as well which is great for snacks and filling your tank between trips. Liquor store just opened up right next door so you can be in and out with a bottle of cold wine in a minute or two. The outdoor pool is small but gets the job done. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended for families of 4 or less on a budget.

Was in the area due to sick family member. Close to hospital and easy checkin. Clean and friendly.

It was close to my family and other areas i visited. I did not like fact that I arrived 40 minutes early and was told room was ready but there was a &50 early check in fee. I just wait in lobby until they allowed me to check in.

Our room was noisy. Trying to fall asleep, you kept hearing the cars driving up the road. The tv and phone didn’t work. I notified management and they told me to switch my room but with 3 kids and my wife and being as late as it was made that impossible. I re notified them in the morning and they said they would have a manager call me. No manager has called me as of writing this.

Brand new property on Rt 1. Close to downtown Milford and Rehoboth beach. Looks like there will be more to come since there are currently corn fields across the road. Next door within walking distance is Grottos pizza is good, excellent wings and offers gelato. This property offers free electric charging for all EV vehicles. Outdoor pool is smaller than expected. Ample lodging seating area to accommodate large parties for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Great mini market selections and prices were affordable. The afternoon-evening front desk staffs were super friendly and understanding to accommodate our lacrosse team. Overall, I would recommend to families/players visiting from out of town.

Second time staying at this hotel. Visiting family at the AFB in Dover, Stay here a week at a time. Always clean, very friendly staff, quick and fast check-in. Would recommend this hotel if passing thru or visiting the area.
