I did not even stay at this hotel. I pulled up and there was crazy drunk college kids everywhere causing a ruckas. No where to even park, called hotel staff continuously and staff had attitude. Homeless people sitting outside entry of hospital. I said screw it and slept in my car. To top it off no refund on hotel!

This is our second time staying at this hotel while visiting our children at college. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was good except that it was summer time and hot. When we checked in the room, the air conditioning was shut off. It took half the night for the room to cool down. And the following day, while we were out visiting family, the air conditioning was shut off again. So it took another half a night for room to cool down. Just terrible for the amount of money we paid. Other than that everything was fine.

The checking in was excellent. we came with our 9-month old baby and the concierge got us a room on the 2nd floor, next to the parking tunnel; very convenient and helpful! And thanks for the grub!

This hotel may not be directly adjacent to the Yale campus, but it's literally minutes away—for a fraction of the price of those other hotels. Inside, it's light and bright and mostly clean, even if the outside of the building looks dark and careworn. Our room was updated and (mostly) clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was $24 for overnight (less than 24 hours, though), and the over-street pedestrian bridge helped ferry kids and luggage straight to the room from the car.
Highly recommended, if you can stand the seven-minute walk to Old Campus. I'm not aware of any other options this close to Yale at this comfort level; it's a very good hotel.

Overall, not a bad place to stay. We needed something close to the train station and close to Hertz and this was perfect for that. Unfortunately, the more was no option for cool air in the room as only the heat was on. It took us too long to figure that out. Someone was smoking weed and the fan was just pulling it in. Both of our kids were asleep while our room filled with weed. Thankfully the room window opens. The toilet felt like a kids toilet because it was so low to the ground. Amenities were mediocre. Aside from the weed incident, this hotel was pretty decent and met our needs.
