I would live at Catbird if I could! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to visit family and LOVED the whole experience. Our room felt like a tiny house – it was a small space but the creative layout meant it never felt cramped.
A few reviews on here mentioned the self-checkin as a negative experience, but we didn’t have any problems, and there was a staff member nearby to help – even when we checked in after midnight on a Thursday.
Hotel amenities were impeccable. We loved the lounge area for a nightcap and super appreciated both the free drip coffee and the Corvus Coffee espresso that was available (gotta have my iced americano).
Honestly can’t say enough good things!

This is hands down the best hotel experience of my life! The rooms are amazing and unique and the full projector tv that sets against the automated black out blind...are you kidding me?! That isn't something I saw on the website and it is cool as hell. The staff is helpful, attentive, and just awesome! Breakfast is tasty and timely and delicious.
Obviously, I can't rave enough about this place. if you stay at one place in Denver, stay at Catbird!

Positives - Loved the bathroom, tv technology & room layout. Very trendy & lots of storage! “Front desk” attendant was friendly & helpful with locating check-in kiosk.
Negatives - When we arrived, no front desk was in view, so we thought we were in the wrong part of the building. Check-in kiosks were hidden. Didn’t like that it was a self check-in process. We had a long day of travel & activities, so we didn’t appreciate having to go through extra steps before getting to our room (i.e. making our own keys, confirming payment details in the system, etc.). We had 2 adults + child on our reservation, but no bedding left for the trundle bed, so we had to dig around for a room phone & ph # to request them. No details were provided about the info we eventually found on the backside of our room door (with the “front desk” #). Room phone looked like a remote & was tucked away in a not-so-obvious spot between the cabinet and glasses. Trundle bed was stiff as a board for our son, so my husband & I had to decide which 1 of us would sleep on that bed. Also, it was broken when we pulled it out, so we couldn’t push it back together. Photo led us to believe there was a pool available, but confirmed after we arrived there were 2 hot tubs & no pool. Difficult self-parking option half block away at The Hub. Too much self-service for the money we paid for our stay. Obviously not meant to be “inclusive” of families. Wouldn’t stay there again, nor would we recommend it.

Beautiful hotel, very modern. Not very family or kid friendly. Checked in at 5pm and the person at the counter suggested we (husband, wife, and 9 yr old) head up to the roof top bar/grill for tapas. Immediately turned around by another rude employee who explained “no kids, this is a bar”. Broken glass bottle under the counter in our rooms bathroom and we had to wait an hr. (late at night) to get bedding for the fold out couch. Amazing projector in room but I wouldn’t stay here again with my family.

We were visiting family in Denver, and the Catbird Hotel was a short 8 minute walk from their home and they highly recommended we check it out! After a deep dive into the property, we were super excited to book our trip! After booking, I reached out to the General Manager, Courtney as we were celebrating a few big life milestones. I asked for a request and they went over and beyond… Thank you again Courtney!
Everything we read about the hotel was true, which isn’t always the case. We booked a Catbird studio view room and was not disappointed! The room was super clean, stocked with everything from a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave, to a dishwasher, two burners, and all the plates, pots, and pans, and other essentials you would need. We booked a king size bed, which was super comfortable, there was tons of under bed storage complete with a few dozen hangers, room for skis/snowboards, and luggage, along with a comfy couch/double bed, and a huge projector screen perfectly viewable from the lofted bed. Plus, there is a 2nd Tv in the room! The bathroom was spacious, clean, had lots of storage, a huge walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and handheld sprayer, along with hooks and cubbies everywhere…It totally exceeded our expectations!
Every person we communicated with at the hotel was amazing, whether it was Nancy who helped us check in, Gilbert on the evening shift, the 8 AM crew getting our amazing freshly cooked breakfast, the housekeepers, or valet, everybody was top

Hotel Lobby and room (junior suite) was the best of the best... Self-check in was efficient. Only issue is there is no substantial restaurant on site, so dinning options were limited at the hotel. The sky deck "red barber" bar is more chips and dip menu, however, everything was good enough with the things we ordered- (have to order at bar. No servers.)
