Residence Inn by Marriott Silicon Valley Sunnyvale I

Stayed here with my family for one night and it was fantastic. Deseray checked us in at the front desk. She was very professional and polite, her customer service was 10/10. Wish we were staying more nights but in the future i will stay here again when in town.

I smell sewage from the bathroom, other than that it was very nice. I will take my family to stay there again.

This little studio type hotel is the perfect stay for a couple or small family of 4. It would be awesome if you needed to stay for multiple days

Our room was amazing and very clean, more amenities than we were expecting. The property had a pond which the kiddo enjoyed. The breakfast that was served had a wide variety and everything was delicious. The downfall to the overall rating was our room wasn't available until 735 which was 4 hours after our check-in. I understand they had a lot of people staying there for the Taylor Swift concert but it was very disappointing that the room was not ready. We were even told it would be ready in 15 minutes after we waited till 4:00 to even speak to someone at the check-in counter. After we asked again that's when we were told our room probably wouldn't be ready till late in the evening.

Great place to stay for family, especially during rainy soccer tournaments. Staff was friendly and always willing to help.

Danny provided amazing customer service super friendly and helpful. The first room I was in had an issue with the toilet it sounded like it was stuck so it was constantly flushing every 10-15 mins so I asked to switch rooms. And he got it for me really quick. The 2nd room didn’t feel as clean and sanitized as the first room tho. The furniture and appliances may have been newer or less used in the first one. There was rust on the fridge in the 2nd room. The toilet seat had a stain and the bathroom tiles seemed dusty. So not sure what their process of cleaning each room but it seemed quite different than the first one I was in. The room overall was still the same in terms of set up. It’s spacious, and I love the couch and kitchenette. It seems very family friendly. They have a small pool and gym, which I ended up not using. I love the free wifi, and easy parking. I also appreciate the free breakfast although I did not utilize either. Finding good dining options seemed harder tho but I used Yelp instead of their recommendations. Overall I would stay here again

When I checked in, I was greater by Danny! He was cheerful and polite and made sure to get myself, husband and baby a room that was quiet! He also offered me a cup of tea as he was checking me in! I don’t think anybody else can top his customer service. Also during the day the girl at the front desk was super helpful and also the lady who delivered me a new towel! Very clean room it felt very private and I was comfortable and relaxed for my two day stay! My room was a studio with a kitchen and I totally recommend it!

Check-in with hotel employee Danny was the best, most kind and welcoming experience. He even offered me a hot tea, and genuinely seemed interested in helping me have a pleasant stay with my family.

The room was ok. Not very well equipped for extended stay. Staff was ok. Biggest issue was with the swimming pool and BBQ area hours. The posted hours stated the pool and BBQ area were open until 10pm.and we watched many families enjoy the area until at least 10pm and even after the posted time nearly every night of our stay. On the final night of our 10 day stay - a Saturday night - we attempted to begin to BBQ dinner with our group of friends at 7pm and hotel staff came poolside and told us that the pool would close at 8pm without exception. We spoke to management to no avail, despite the fact that we had watched other guests enjoy the pool area many nights in a row prior to our Saturday night dinner. I asked why the rules were changed for this night and hotel staff told me that it was "Due to the ongoing pandemic"!!! The hotel staff made this claim while not even wearing a mask!! Again, this was after we watched the pool and BBQ area enjoyed by many people for almost 10 days running. This was a huge disappointment to our group, who were in town for an annual sports competition. We will NEVER stay at this or ANY Marriott facility again. This was a huge slap in the face to our entire group. Not only did hotel staff change it's rules without any notice they did it very rudely. This was a terrible manner in which to end our 10-day stay after bring more than $10,000 to the hotel in room rates - we stayed in 20+ rooms!!. Such a disappointing experience. We are done with Marriott
