Embassy Suites Santa Clara - Silicon Valley/Great America

It started out great! VERY happy with our room and check-in. As the evening continued, we were watching tv and having dinner. Suddenly, around 9:00pm, the tv went blank! No sound, no picture. We tried all the buttons on the remote control - nothing! Turned it on and off numerous times! Still - nothing!! After trying everything we know to try - we powered down. Got dressed and went down to talk to the front desk. They said that the whole hotel is out. They already called someone in, but it would probably not be back on til morning. I go to sleep with the tv on. I knew this was going to be a very long night!! And, it was!!! We were staying for 2 nights. If it happened again, we would stay somewhere else. It did not happen again. Thank goodness! So, what happened??? We don’t know? No one ever said anything to us! I was disappointed and hoped for a discount on my room for that night only. It was a great room and was convinced that we would be staying here more often as my family lives here in Mountain View, and we come down ALOT and stay in hotels. That’s how our stay was!

Great but not perfect. Smaller hotel so no atrium as others stated. Great check in. Late check out with no additional fee. Room was clean and spacious. Wish there was a book or something with channel line up breakfast times etc in the room. Also wish bottles of water were included in the room. Room was very quiet! Happy hour was great bartender very cool and snacks like crudités were available. Heated pool is heated but to just tepid not warm and pool area kinda chilly and pool is small but okay for us and the kids. Breakfast was good many choices but did not like that core items like pancakes bacon etc were behind counter with omelet guy with long line only one person though he was friendly. I guess they don’t want you taking too much. Me and the kids had a great time and had dinner at McDonald’s which is close by.

It was a good place to stay with the family. The pool is tiny and could use more cleaning from so many kids being in it. Our kid’s bathing suits smelled awful after their swim. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. My daughter was able to swim in the heated pool. The only issue was the parking was far too expensive for the stay. 23.00 is alot. The evening reception was nice. The restaurant was so so. Not alot of flavor. The breakfast was amazing. Various options to choose from. Overall, My family would definitely stay there again. Service was Superb!

The complementary breakfast was great. The kids enjoyed the pool.

We got there later than normal for check in. I had reserved a king bed room for my wife and I. We finally got a date night from our 4 children. When we checked in nothing was said, then when we got to our room, there was 2 full beds. When I called down to the lobby they said that was the last room they had. Needless to say I was not happy. Breakfast was good as usually. Not sure if I would stay there again.

What I liked about the property was our view, our breakfast was very good in the morning. The chef at the omelette station was very welcoming, polite and kind. I felt like our room was clean and spacious. I absolutely enjoyed the Starbucks coffee downstairs. I felt very comfortable and accommodated during my stay. We frequently visit the area because we have family in the area. We will definitely stay at an Embassy Suites again. I do want to mention that we enjoyed the pool but there was some hair in it which was off putting and it was cloudy. It was very late in the evening so maybe that's why it wasn't kept up. I apologize but wanted to report that to you.

Free breakfast (with omelet station) was great, delicious. Restaurant and bar on-site was good. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean facilities. The kids liked the indoor pool. Sizzler right next door and fast food places walkable and very close to hotel. Nice rooms and lobby area. Will definitely stay there again!

The front desk guy Minh did a great job in making sure we had a pleasant stay at your hotel. We had a couple issues that needed to be cleared up. He made it seamless. He did a great job of making my family feel comfortable and stress free. We are very very happy with our stay, I’m giving it 5 stars!! With a special High Five to Minh.
