La Cuesta Inn

My family and I stayed for the weekend. Close to Pismo and Hearst Castle. Quiet and the staff were great. Would definitely stay there again.

I booked a room with 2 beds. I showed up about 10:20pm only to find out they gave my room to wrong person and they only had a single bed room available. I was with adult son. I asked how I get refund for difference since I booked 2 beds and they had no clue. I could not get receipt since I booked with Expedia. Expedia tried to call about the room but nobody answered. My kid had to sleep on roll away bed

This was our family first trip to San Luis Obispo, a very last minute choice. The area is gorgeous and also hotels can be pricey but La Cuesta Inn was reasonable, clean, the room was spacious, the bathroom impeccable , our room was on the 4th floor and we arrived late so the underground parking with the easy elevator access was great. Our room fronts the hwy but I was surprised the quietness, the view of the mountains at sunrise was breathtaking. Thank you for the breakfast. I definitely recommend it and will be staying there again in the future.

My kids and i enjoyed our stay very much. The pool and spa were clean and great size for us. Breakfast area was nice and clean. I would've liked a couple more protein options but I'm not complaining. The staff were nice and accommodating and prompt when we needed something. The price was great. Overall a fun experience.

My family and I enjoyed the clean property and room. The area is convenient to restaurants and the downtown area is about a 15 minute walk. I would stay there again!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and amenities. Room was a good size. Bathroom was clean and spacious. For ann Inn close to the Cal Poly SLO campus, we couldn't have been happier. Breakfast is served in the morning and the front desk staff was very, polite and friendly. My understanding is that there's a discount if you are family visiting a student. I will definitely stay there again when I need to be in that area.

Everything was normal about the property. Was immediately greeted. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Room didn't smell and appeared to be clean. BUT, the television was too complicated to control. It was very annoying. You couldn't just press up and down on the remote. And the remote did not have a backlight which made it more difficult to watch TV at night. I had to turn the light to look at the remote to enter some numbers for the TV guide then wait for the TV guide to scroll to find a channel or show I want to watch. Then enter that channel with dashes. And if I want to change it, I could not press up or down. I would have to turn the light and do the whole process over again. My wife was annoyed because she needed to sleep for her business meeting. I just ended up turning off the TV and using my phone. Very disappointed. A child or elderly person would definitely not be able to do that. I barely did and I'm in the tech industry. SMH. I will not stay there again.

The short stay At La Cuesta Inn was wonderful from easy parking to a comfortable room. The staff was warm and very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again and refer friends and family.

We've stayed at La Cuesta Inn about four times. Never had any issues. Nice staff, clean room, quiet in hallways, ample parking. For Cal Poly families, it's very close to the campus. BTW: I recommend Splash Cafe for a nearby breakfast/brunch (cute and casual).

My whole family (my own family, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents) all stayed here for a wedding and the manager—Brayden—made our stay feel like we were right at home, comfortable and memorable. Brayden provides above and beyond, excellent customer service. My family and I appreciate him! Some of the other staff are not so very nice and seem like they hate their job (snobby and rude attitudes) but Brayden makes you forget about them.
