We stayed here to visit family 10 minutes down the road. It cost us for two nights $1022! This is an old dilapidated hotel. There are no fancy amenities or anything worth that cost. We needed to stay close and it was one of our only options. To find out they price gouged us to stay there… this hotel is barely worth $200 a night. That is a horrible thing to do to people. This hotel is old and outdated and we could have stayed at a beach front property for less, way less. Dont stay here for anything more than $200 a night, you will be mad and disappointed. I also had bites all over my chest after leaving here.

This is an excellent hotel, pool and spa area was so nice. Me and my family enjoyed our time there. Staff was great during checking in, the ladies in the breakfast area were great, friendly

They cancelled our room without telling me! I arrived at 8 pm after a 4 hour drive, to the front desk telling me that the manager made a decision to cancel my room. They did not contact me , but said they tried to call, which was a lie! I was pay on arrival like I always do. They said “ Oh well sorry” you can call my manager who will be here next week. So unprofessional, rude, and careless. I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel. So beware if you book here , they are truly sketchy and will give away your room for NO reason. The hotel is nothing special and the pricing is actually better at hotels near by which are higher rated. Also there are an abundance of homeless people wandering in the parking lot and sleeping on the near by sidewalks. That was sad and unfortunate. I do not recommend this hotel after the poor treatment our family got!

We booked a king, but received a queen instead, which didn’t fit our family of course. They brought in a rollaway free of charge, but a king and a rollaway is ideal for our family. At night, after we came back from dinner, the bathroom was stuck. We called that in but they said they couldn’t help us since there’s no one available. They offered a plunger that we had to go downstairs to get. Overall, I felt it was a very unsatisfactory stay. Not only did we not get the bed configuration, we had to be the plumber too. I don’t recommend this place based on my experience. Travelocity was not much of a help either.

The hotel needs a remodel. Would suggest vinyl flooring instead of carpet in rooms, since you are pet friendly. Bed was very comfortable, could have slept, but the upstairs guests kept us up walking around most of the night. The creaking floors need to be fixed. Furnishings were well worn. Just stayed at Best Western in Palm Desert. They had a cook that made breakfast from a short but fast and good menu. Didnt feel like the same hotel menu. Friendly staff both places. I chose this hotel as it is close to where our family lives, which was the reason we were in SLO.
