Morro Shores Inn & Suites is a super cute hotel right off the freeway. Check-in was a tad confusing at first since there was a sign on the door saying they had stepped out & would be back soon. They ended up being there, & it worked out fine. The room was relatively clean with a few rouge spiders & hairs in random places especially in the restroom (I assume these belonged to the cleaning staff). We had to move a chair a little bit to play a family card game & found a surprise snack underneath, so that was fun. The beds were comfortable & overall, the room was nice.

It was nice we booked the family suite which was spacious. There however is no pool like stated.
Trash cans were overflowing. There was guest in the courtyard that was too loud well past 11

Rude, inattentive staff. Was given the keys to our room only to find another family already staying there.
Got locked out of our new room, staff was very rude to me and refused to help me. Finally the guy at the front desk got up and unlocked it for us.
Our family stays here every year on our beach trip, sadly we’re thinking twice about it next time.
Customer service has been flushed down the toilet.

The guy at the reception welcomed us promptly, but he had no shoes on and he was dressed down in a t-shirt. Same thing at checkout.
Our family room was big and fit everyone nicely, but it smelt like cleaner (even though the tile floor was dirty. It did not show as dirty, but my husband loves to walk barefoot and he could feel how dirty it was. He took a wet paper towel and wiped the floor and sure enough it was gross. The bathroom was clean though. However, some of the blankets and bedsheets were stained. We registered 6 people in our reservation, but only 4 sets of towels were provided. One bed only had a flat sheet and the futon was bare. We had to request all of these extra supplies. The beds were comfortable, although the futon is only good for a younger child (under 12). The room was very functional, but not inviting. We are pretty sure this room used to be the breakfast room and was converted into a family room. It was ok for one night, but I would personally try to find a different hotel for next time. I think the tile floor and the cleaners odor were the worst part.

We arrived later in the evening after a long day at the beach. We were tired and ready to crash. We had booked a Suite…1 king, 2 Queens, and a full size sofa bed. The room was very dirty, smellled, and things were falling apart. Instead of a full size sofa bed, there was a broken leather futon couch. There wasn’t even bedding for it. Then when we pulled back the covers on the king, there were very obvious “bodily fluid” stains on the sheets, and hairs all over the duvet. My husband went to talk with the management, who couldn’t seem to understand how there could be stains since they had a linen service. Obviously the sheets hadnt even been changed. We go to put on the new set of linens and while checking them over found dry crusted boogers? Fecal matter? Blood?…I honestly don’t know what it was, all over the new duvet, with small curly hairs…pubic?? We were absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately it was late, our children were asleep at this point, and there were no other hotels even close that had openings for that night. Both my husband and I went down to talk with management. All he kept saying was that it wasn’t there fault, but the linen services. Wouldn’t take any responsibility. We got another set of bedding, throughly checked it, went to sleep and left as soon as possible the next morning. Horrible experience.

Great stay! Easy check in with wonderful customer service. The room was modern, clean, and in good repair. The stairwells were clean as well. One improvement suggestion is to upgrade the comfort of the fold out sofa. The kids slept on the floor because it was so uncomfortable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a great value!

The room was clean but, in dire need of renovation, paint patches all over the walls, and eroded bases boards. I checked my parents in to stay while we camped near by in the RV park. The place was obviously family ran and their younger possible daughter was hospitable presumed possible mother and father gave off an error of suspicion, judgmental, and oddly analytical demeanor. They’d honestly would do better allowing their daughter to run things and their customer service didn’t present genuineness.

The property looked nothing like in the pictures. Furniture was old and dirty. My family was very disappointed.

Very comfortable rooms for our family of 5. Booked stay with king bed, 2 double/queen, 1 futon (which meant 2 adjacent rooms). It felt great for each kid to have their own bed and for my husband and I to hand a king bedroom to ourselves. This place was perfect for us! Walking distance to Morro Rock, less than 5 minutes from the town, and the beds were comfortable.
The building is small and had basic amenities but it let our needs since we were out most of the time. It’s super convenient for us to explore the town, visit Cal Poly, Pasa Robles and SLO.
