My family and I had an Amazing time in San Francisco. The hotel was perfect for us. The service was great. Very responsive. It was our first time in the city and the location was perfect for us - accessble, near shopping and food. The staff was very attentive; and it was clean. Pricey but so was everything else in the city. Recommend.

Everything was excellent
The only downside was I paid for an upgrade but next door was a family with little kids that woke us up 5am the noise was unbearable
The staff should place families with kids in different floors

The hotel is closed to everything, but the parking around the hotel is very bad. Anyhow, because our from family used to live Lakewood, California where parking is easy to find.

We traveled from UK and stayed at the Grand Hyatt SF last week and were very pleased with the service, facilities and helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. The hotel is very central next to the Union Square and with many areas within the walking distance such as nob hill, China town. This was an excellent choice hotel for its quality, convenience and its location. Transport facilities are excellent from nearby cable car and other public transport points. I will be very happy to stay here again or to recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for their hospitality.

Fantastic hotel room with a view of the Christmas tree. Lovely hospitality, prompt response to crib request. As always Hyatt lives up to its standards. Great place for families.

I love this SF location for walkable proximity to my favorite places: Chinatown, the Ferry Building, the Italian District, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Ghirardelli. (I like walking.) And, of course, if you need something at a store, you’re by Union Square. I’ve been staying here about yearly for over 30 years. This stay was the first time that I had a lot of trouble sleeping, as did other people in my family, some of whom were in different rooms. The duvets become surprisingly hot and the pillows quickly squished down to almost nothing. People in my group from their 20s to 60s developed neck aches. A few tweaks to the bedding would help a lot. Also, if you put your foot near the bedside table, a light comes on automatically. It’s a really annoying feature. It woke me up more than once.

Quite disappointing - my car keys, laptop, laptop bag and rave sunglass went missing the 2nd day i was in the hotel. Expected a safe environment but definitely not the case. When asked about the missing items, hotel managment claimed that the only person went inside the room is the housekeeper. And since the housekeeper have worked for long time, the prior is given on her word. As a guest, i was profiled as the hotel management blame their customer for not secure items. Well, as a customer, i have paid a lots of money to stay in an executive suite to be safe and have the privacy and should be able to leave my personal stuff. Very disappointing to hear the hotel management holding more weight on the housekeeper word that nothing was taken, so the customer is lying. Terrible experience. Will be talking to my attorney, as i beleive me and my family was profile. How did my valuables item went missing? Need answer from the Hyatt management.
