I booked the junior suite with sofa bed and the view of the square on 10th floor. The hotel rate was very reasonable for the most desirable hotel at Union Square. It was new experience for us to ride the old fashioned elevators with press button of floors outside each elevator. I like the decent size of this room which has a walk-in closet connected to the bathroom. The bathroom shower has very elegant marble tiles matching the floor tiles and it feels very refreshing. We used the $30 credit for breakfast at the Ritos cafe and the egg white frittata was tasty and big enough for my husband and I to share. We highly recommend the junior suite for its classy and comfort!!!

We loved ThebWestin St. Francis, very clean, the location was very convenient, the room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel has a lot of historical spots in it. I highly recommend this place and hopefully I'll be back soon.I travel a lot trust me when I tell you yhis is a great choice to stay with your family.♥️

This is my number one spot when I come to San Francisco! I have 2 boys a 5 year old and a 4 year old and must say it’s super family friendly. I have stayed in all the top end hotels and this one by far beats them all!

From being greeted warmly by Bailey at the front desk to the amazing historical tour of the hotel by Howard Mutz, everything about our stay was amazing. Our junior suite corner was fantastic. Everyone at the hotel treats you well and makes you feel valued. This is why we keep coming back. Love this SF landmark. Thank you so much.

Betty, was very professional efficient and quick during check in. Explained everything. Gist benefits. Destination fees is something new. But lots of hotel credit to cover it. We changed type of one of the rooms easily at no cost. Great view for grand rooms with city view. Only comments is exterior window cleanliness and one missed spot at the bathtub. Manager fixed it right away and made everything right. Thanks for all. All of our family loved it

The Saint Francis is a grand old hotel; however it seems tired and neglected. It seems that they don’t have the money to maintain it in the style it should be maintained. The lobby has been changed into a fast food snack area attracting families with lot of children and little league teams. It was very dispiriting for one who was looking for the elegant hotel of the past. Our room was oddly shaped. It was as if they combined a room and a hallway.

This place is Great! My favorite place to stay in the city. I come here all the time with my family and I have never been disappointed. There was a mix up once and they made it right! Customer service at its finest! I’ve stayed at 5 star places like the four seasons and The Westin St. Francis union square beats them all by a long shot. I must say it is also a place in which I feel comfortable and safe.

The junior suite is a great room with great views. Very quiet. SF needs to some how/some way make SF feel safe again. So many homeless that are aggressive.
