Marriott Vacation Club Pulse, San Francisco

Convenient location within walking distance to the Wharf and North Beach areas. Newer property, across the street from Marriott Fisherman's Wharf and near the Powell/Mason cable car turn-around. Enjoyed a large clean room for a family visit. Room itself was spacious though bathrooms were small. Amenities were good with large flat screen TV and locker-like cabinet that held a small safe and mini-refrigerator.

Location was great and I loved the vibe! We also loved sitting downstairs and playing games as a family

They refuse to work with you if you need to make changes to your reservations if you book through a third party. Yet they only book online. My family and I had COVID and they still refused to work with me on changing my reservation or refunding my money.

Nearby Walgreen is a plus point. Spacious room. Very comfortable for a family of 3.

Loved the enclosed play area for our kids

Very very noisy could not sleep ! They even put earplugs on the bed . Courtyard room you could hear children screaming for joy & having a great time playing ! Also dated rooms with sandpaper rough towels . Way below Marriot standards .

We stayed at the property with our kids and were very impressed by it's location, cleanliness and amazing staff. We were within walking distance of Fishman's Wharf as well as many other attractions and restaurants and felt completely safe walking at all hours of the day. We would definitely stay here again!

We were pleased to find that the hotel was spacious, with wide elevator doors and hallways that easily accommodated our double stroller. We stayed on the first floor, which was perfect for us since we could access the courtyard directly with the kids. The courtyard was secure and had only one entrance, making it safe and enjoyable for the kids. The first floor also had a gym, which was perfect for me to use in the mornings. On the third floor, there were washers and dryers, which was a big plus when traveling with toddlers. There are also ice machines and a Bevi machine, which dispense still or sparkling water that could be plain, cucucmber, lemon, lime, or grapefruit. Our room was kept very clean, with daily servicing that made us feel right at home. We had a large room with all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning, a fridge, multiple lamps and USB outlets, a wardrobe, a coffee/tea station with Starbucks grounds and Tazo tea, a bathtub/shower, and a shower mat if needed. We also appreciated the ample supply of towels for our family and the smart TV with plenty of channels and applications. In the lobby, there was a 24-hour store with a range of packaged foods, drinks, wine, beer, and a microwave that guests could use to heat up any food they may have.

My family and I booked this hotel based off the great reviews it had for families traveling with children. All staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We didn't utilize the outdoor courtyard but saw it and it was clean and inviting. The hotel also had fresh flavored water and snacks in the lobby daily. My daughter especially loved the machine that had a selection of different types of flavored water. This location was walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and to a great restaurant we found called Surisan. Our room was facing the street, so it had a view. But I do have to say if you're facing the street, it will be a bit noisy at night. We used our phone to play ocean waves (we have a noisemaker at home), so the outside noise didn't bother us too much. The room was real clean, had a mini cooler, coffee maker and great toiletries. This hotel did not disappoint, I hope you decide to book this hotel for your stay. If we head to San Francisco again, we will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and modern property in close proximity to local areas such as the Wharf. On-demand service to room. Valet prices is overpriced and rates could be better. At check-in, front desk associate was having a conversation with guests who were checking in front of us. I did not like the wait as it was delaying our plans and we were traveling with an infant. No consideration was made from this associate; however, we were checked in by another associate.
