Check in was fast and easy. Real polite and welcoming. The only thing i didnt like ,was the homeless that hung around the area. I didn't feel comfortable with my kids walking to the convenience store.

the most terrible hotel I've ever been to, there's nothing western here at all (not even a hint), we arrived in the evening, the hotel wasn't lit, it wasn't even clear what it was. The pool is dirty, I asked for towels for the pool, this is absolutely ridiculous, they gave me such small ones that even the child couldn’t turn around! The refrigerator didn't work! didn't cool at all! There were only boxes of shampoo and shower gel; when pressed, there was nothing to wash with. The only thing I was worried about was that the breakfast wouldn’t be very good, but it was surprisingly normal, more or less. All the same, the room cost 190, it’s too expensive for such conditions! There was no grill, for that kind of money you could rent right next to the ocean, and better conditions!

We stayed here because it was close to our daughter's house in Oceanside. She had a baby and we needed to be nearby. The hotel service, breakfast, and amenities were nice. The pool is not heated, but it was warm out. There are quite of few shady characters in the area, so I wouldn't go for a walk in the neighborhood. Otherwise, it was close to the beach and economic. I would stay here again if I needed to, just to be close to my daughter's house.

It totally met our needs for a hotel close to Legoland. It had a good pool, but it was totally packed the first night we were there. Note that the pool towels are by request only at the front desk! The breakfast was good, but not enough seating for all the families that were there. I thought the 2nd morning would be less crowded, but it wasn’t. But the staff was working like crazy to keep all the food replenished and they did a great job. The beds were too hard for my taste, but that’s a personal preference thing. I would not want to be in a room facing the pool because of how loud it was with the families there until about 10pm. Great access to the freeway and lots of convenience stores and fast food relatively close as well as the beach.

The rooms were very small. Not the best if you have a large family. Pretty close to the water, but it’s still a drive. Decent eateries within 10 minute drive.

The hotel was older, but clean, customer service was good. Breakfast was good. However, I was charged more for the rooms than Hotels.com quoted me. There were children screaming in the pool until 10pm and then down the hallways after that. This hotel is in a very noise spot with I-5 traffic, road work and trolleys. Its overall ok for the price but not as good as the rating i saw.

Staff was really friendly, kids wanted to go to the hot tub, but it was so green and nasty, also unsafe area and homeless problem about 60 feet away from your hotel room door.

We booked a room for family who came into town. They absolutely loved it. It was close to our house and by a lot of other places (food, coffee shops, the beach, bowling…) Even though it’s by the freeway, you can’t hear anything so that was good. The breakfast was good and parking was easy to find by the room.

This hotel is in an excellent location right off the freeway. Yet, our room was quiet and comfortable. The rooms are older but clean and well maintained.
The breakfast room was big with a lot of options. Not the healthiest but definitely good for traveling families.
My only complaint- which is not the fault of the hotel- what is the number of obviously mentally distressed or drug-fueled homeless people that were suddenly on the property and trying to get into the breakfast room once the sun rose. The staff did a great job of managing them and making them leave. But still, it didn’t feel as safe in the morning as it did in the evening, surprisingly. We saw no transients when we arrived close to midnight. Again, this is not the hotel’s fault that homeless sleep along the wall paralleling the freeway.
One bonus was a very nice clean fitness room with a good selection of equipment to use. The hotel also has a small pool in the center, though we did. It use it due to weather.
For the price this hotel is an excellent value and we would definitely stay here again.
