Nice pet-friendly hotel. Service was good and very responsive. Hot breakfast daily and free parking. Stayed there because I wanted a place between Pinnacles National Park and Big Sur. Worked out well for our family road trip. Dog fee was $75 per dog during stay.

I chose this property because the description listed a restaurant as one of the amenities. I was traveling with my eighty year old mother and was there to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. I wanted a location that included on site dining where family could meet, have a few drinks and a decent meal. Although the establishment did serve “breakfast”, I felt the description was dishonest. The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant.

From the staff, the cozy fluffy mattress, to the great full breakfast spread, with so many options, everythings been great for my 3 night stay with my family! To top it off, its pet friendly! Our furry family member was welcomed ❤️

We ALMOST didn't stay here based on some elrecent reviews, but so glad we went ahead and stayed. Very clean, very comfortable room. I stayed here with my wife and kids and everyone was very happy with the stay. I thought the check-in was fast and easy. AC kept us cool through the night. Beds were comfortbal...we had 8 pillows between 2 beds! There were even 2 more in the closet lol. We were happy with the included breakfast, especially the strawberry waffles. Great stay.

Pool area has been closed since COVID. Sound travels easily heard activity at 230 am which was disruptive to my children. Rooms very clean and breakfast choices were great.

This used to be our go to hotel in Salinas, CA. The last two trips over the past 4 months called in quits. I tried to check in early at 11:30 am and never had an issue. The customer service at the front desk was the worst. She did not try to accommodate at any lengths. I asked when a room would be ready and she said 3pm. Parking lot was empty, I didn’t understand the reasoning. I asked her to take my number and call me as I had a wedddinf to attend and really needed a room to shower. I waited until 1:30, went back to the hotel and she was checking in another family. I asked her why she didn’t call me and she was checking in other guests and she said the housekeepers just updated the system. Sounded like total BS, the room she gave us was a downgrade for what I paid for in advance 2 months prior. Beds were uncomfortable, the fire alarm went off the next morning and apparently the housekeepers told me a man tried getting into another room and ran.
The housekeepers were great o give it to them they panicked but got us out safely and communicated. The same desk clerk ignored the issue and said this was no issue. Even though the elevators were not working and our keys were left upstairs to due exiting due to safety concern. I say promote the housekeepers or give them a raise. The lady in the front needs training or it’s just not a fit, safety and customer service as a 0.

The pool was closed. When I asked the front desk if it would be open the next day while checking in the lady was kind of rude. The sink was clogged. The room kind of smelled, the fridge was unplugged and I didn't realize it until I bought milk. There was only one luggage cart which made moving my luggage to the 3rd floor with a toddler harder. Breakfast was good and the front desk lady for check out was friendly.

The property was adequate. I chose it for the location close to family. I feel that the property could use an update.

The condition of the hotel was great, it was very clean and they were prompt about bringing extra towels when requested. The breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed it. The only negative thing I would say is that there was a surprise $50 pet fee that was not listed in the contract. This was not told to me until I went to check in at the front desk and they gave no explanation except that it was a recent change and said it had not yet been updated on their website.

I wouldn't suggest having an older child/teen use the pull out sofa bed. When we pulled it out, there were the sheets the previous guest had used crumpled on the bed. The mattress was extremely thin and difficult to sleep on for a teen. Overall, not impressed. This Hampton Inn is not like the impeccably clean and modern Hampton Inns we have stayed in previously.
