We booked our room about a month before and were assured two double beds since we were a group of 4 people (2 adults and two children; children are bigger than us at 12 and 15 years old). We were able to check in an hour earlier at 2pm since we were done touring and ready to relax. Unfortunately, our room had been changed to a King size bed with a pull out couch. This is not the most comfortable for the other two in our party but at least it was for only one night. We were offered anything from the sundries to compensate (our room was prepaid) but we didn’t partake. I asked to get an upgrade, that we would pay but were told the whole hotel was sold out. I cannot accept that this was authorized by the hotel to exchange the rooms. The computer should not be allowed to overbook!! This is a purely human decision. If we need two beds, we actually need two beds! And we checked in early. The cost of one bed and a pull out couch should not be equivalent to two queen beds. It was also a major inconvenience to have all of the exit doors as “Exit Only!” The card readers would not work. Even those in the pool would have to go to the front, if they were really hotel guests. The access control everywhere failed. The pool had been chained when not in use. The card reader was not working to limit access to those staying at the hotel, at the front door, or the elevator. There was no visible sign for the hotel or for the lobby.

My daughter, grandson and I stayed 4 nights to visit family in the area. The first night I noticed there was a dead bug in the fridge and the bathroom sink was not draining very good. Since it was late I didn't mention it until the next morning. The person at the desk was very nice, said they would get it fixed. We came back late that night and the sink was fixed, but the bug was still there. And we couldn't get in the side door we parked by that our room was by and had to go around to the front. Next morning I told him the bug was still in fridge so he had someone come clean it right away which was good. He said the doors were not working well, they needed to fix them. The staff was very nice but seemed like the overall building and cleanliness needed more work. The breakfast had a lot of options for regular people but lacking for special diets such as gluten and dairy free that one in our party had. Bed was clean and comfortable.

My family and I did a 1 night stay here. Staff was very friendly from start to finish. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The drain in the shower didn’t fully drain due to the drain stopper not lifting up all the way. Not a huge issue; just annoying. The breakfast was nice- we always get the cinnamon rolls any time we stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

It was a nice staycation. Beds were comfortable and even being on the ground floor street side it was relatively quiet. The morning breakfast was pretty good. Nice selection and quality food items. Great facilities for business and family.

The staff were great and the room space was perfect for my family but the hotel is so noisy. Every single street noise would be heard. If you are a light sleeper you will Need ear plugs and maybe a white noise machine to help you sleep.

We got to our room #231 on December 24th there was dirty underwears under the bed with poop on them. THE room really smell like poop the whole stay. Also we found poop on the floor near our kids' bunk bed where they had to sleep. my wife had to go into the restroom and get some toilet paper to clean the poop off the carpet. I went down and told the front desk the lady didn't seem very helpful she said she would send somebody up. The guy came up named Jose which was really nice and apologized and got rid of the underwears that had poop on them and we told him we already cleaned up the poop off the floor. About 15 minutes later after he left our phone rang and it was a lady from the front desk she said she applied 3,000 points to our IHG account which we never use at all so that 3,000 point is useless to us. She said she would have moved us to another room but there was not another room available that was the type of room we ordered. We had the room that had the bunk beds in it so we were pretty much stuck in that room for the night with the smell of poop all night. I think this might have been one of the worst rooms we ever been in I really think our money was wasted and I want to be contacted by the hotel. I have pictures

We loved the room we stayed in (king w/bunk beds). It was perfect for our family. We don't live far but I would definitely stay here again if the need arose.
