I would not stay here again with my children. I was surprised how NOT kid friendly this hotel was. We were placed on the 3rd floor, my toddler was running around in our room as toddlers do. It was 1:30 pm in the afternoon and I received a call from the front desk that we were being too loud. We had to MOVE rooms! It took almost 2 hours for the new room to be ready!!! Then when I was willing to give the hotel another chance, I took my toddler to the gift shop where there are tons of sparkly and shiny colorful children’s toys!!! The lady working in the gift shop told my toddler not to touch anything!!!!!! To top it off, we brought some frozen Mac and cheese for the kids to eat. I knew that there wouldn’t be a microwave in the room, as we stay in Palm Springs a lot. That’s tolerable because there’s usually a community microwave for the floor. I called the front desk because I couldn’t find the microwave and she told me I could rent one for $15.00!!

We went on an impromptu baby moon since my husband had not been to Palm Springs before. Only stayed one night but this was a very nice hotel. The front desk staff saw how tired I was just walking in and gave us bottled water. I was SO GRATEFUL!

Our stay was ok. During check in, they said self parking was $30 a night so we told them we weren’t interested and that we would park on the street instead. When the check out bill arrived, we were charged $60 total for parking for our 2 nights stay. My sister and her family also stayed at the Hilton with us. They paid the same amount and we’re in the room next door. Their room was double the size of ours. It was VERY UNFAIR because we paid the same amount and asked for the same room, not to mention we were there to celebrate MY HUSBAND’s birthday. The room was dirty and very dusty near the head of the bed. The floor had feathers on it. The pull out sofa bed did not have any sheets, nor were any provided by hotel staff. They did not provide turn down service. The servers by the pool were amazing. They’re the reason this review has a decent rating. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

We booked 3 rooms and when we got there we got one room in first level , second room second level and third room third level. We had told them we needed it close to each other since we have children. But that didn’t happen.

It was a good hotel for a few days in Palm Springs with kids. They enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the closeness to the main streets. Room size was good, and we got upgraded to a pool view room by the very friendly check-in person.
