Courtyard by Marriott Petaluma Sonoma County

We have stayed at many Marriott properties and this one was disappointing. Had 7 rooms for family gathering. 1 room full of ants. 3 rooms with broken hairdryers. 1 room had no mini fridge. We were unable to check into the 1 Suite we booked until after dinner as room was not ready. I would not recommend this property.

It was a nice property next to the freeway and new housing although the homeless people on the train tracks next to the entrance scared my child.

The hotel was great, very clean and super comfy beds and pillows. My main issues was that I specifically booked this location for it's hot tub and when my fiance and I went in, it was not only filled with kids (12-14 yr olds) at 9:00pm, with no parents insight and the water was so cold. It was not enjoyable whatso ever.

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Petaluma Sonoma County for a quick getaway. The hotel was located perfect for our destinations we were attending. The hotel offers a Starbucks in the lobby, a fitness center, pool, and business center. The staff are very friendly throughout the hotel. They work fast trying to resolve whatever issue you may have. The staff at the restaurant are all 5 stars. They were very accommodating, especially with our children and their pickiness. It is pretty sketchy just as you pull out of the hotel, there is a huge homeless population which tends to increase as it gets darker. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel and personnel ever!!!We booked a one bedroom suite and by the time we get there they gave us a king bed room without telling us anything and we had to go to the front desk to make sure since we specifically reserved a suite bedroom because we have a baby with us. The front desk person just told me they are sold out of the one bedroom suite. If we didn’t have any doubt and went to ask them, they were just giving us one standard king bed room when we paid for the suite bedroom price. The front desk person didn’t even apologise about it and just said they can give us 40 bucks refund, completely cheating the customers! We ended up just not staying with the hotel and drive back home. This is horrible experience and worst I have ever had with any hotels. There are also a bunch of homeless people hanging out and gathering around the hotel, definitely not recommended.
