Construction going on near the property so it was noisy. It was a quaint little place to stay but needed better lighting in the junior suite. It was a very clean and an average accommodation with a great location so you could walk to the shops in Laguna Beach. We felt safe there.

Lovely boutique hotel at a great price point. The junior suite was spacious and perfect for myself and my 2 teenage daughters. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the complimentary wine and cheese board upon arrival. The lobby was super cute and cozy with a nice selection of coffee/teas available. Would be happy to stay again!

Friendly staff and we loved the free parking and no resort fee. We stayed in the junior suite - it was spacious and we loved the balcony with a peek of the ocean.

I loved the garden atmosphere of the property. It was very quaint. I liked the sitting area outside where you could eat or just be with family or friends.

Hotel was nice - but could have been cleaner. There were a couple of ants in our room and there was a bit of a musty/dampness in the air. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The little breakfast/ coffee area was lovely and our children were thrilled to have popcorn. The rooms were spacious and the area was convenient to restaurants, shops etc.

As a New Yorker, I know that by coming to Laguna beach you’ll have to pay, which you do. This place is a perfect location - great from town and to water. It’s perfect for come and go as you please. I am fully aware that you have to pay to stay somewhere more outrageous to get a 5* service, but what I don’t *love* is this: 1). It’s $500 a night and when we arrived our room wasn’t ready and we were told we couldn’t go the bathroom on-site. $500 a night. We understand the room wasn’t ready but don’t tell us to go across the street or venture out to find a bathroom. That’s tacky for $500. 2). We were told we could get free breakfast starting at 730am, but when we checked out at 8am, the kid working the desk said we had to order trays but he wasn’t sure if pastries were available when the girl said that was all breakfast was the day before. Moral of the story - if you want a place to crash with an amazing location and view, this is perfect. Just make sure you have breakfast plans, aren’t trying to save money, and buy a bottle of wine to enjoy a nightcap as that is not available onsite! You are in good hands otherwise!

The hotel was what I was expecting based on the photos. The room was clean and had an up to date look. Also, the standard room with the queen bed was suitable for a solo traveler like myself or a couple; consider a larger room if traveling with a family.
The hotel is also super close to Agate Street Beach. Just walk for about a minute or two and go down the stairs. The hotel offers rentals for beach items such as towels and chairs if you need them.
For parking, the spot is included in the hotel stay. However, once you get there, the number of spaces are slightly limited due to the size of the property. If it is possible, leave the vehicle in the spot for the rest of the stay and use the free trolley to get around Laguna. The trolley stop is close by off Bluebird Canyon.
For breakfast, the hotel offers coffee, yogurt, banana, and a small pastry. For this type of a breakfast, I would recommend them also offering boiled eggs. In the near future, when COVID is further in the rear view mirror, restarting the continental breakfast.
Overall, the stay was excellent. I would gladly come back to this hotel again.

The Inn was a 2 min walk to the beach and a short $8 Lyft ride to downtown Laguna. The room was very tiny and were disappointed with size as compared to the photos. We felt this was overpriced for the size of the rooms. We are expecting a baby so it won’t be feasible to stay here again with a child.

I think the people at the front desk were very nice & The property dog is adorable. The office did have a strange odor & Who is not a good source of travel information for those not from the area. The room was definitely a far stretch called an ocean view. There were two homes under construction you had to look over to see the water and no clear view of it. It also had a path that you went down and could sit on cute little benches but pretty much dropped off like a cliff when you went to lay on the beach near the property. There was very little room to enjoy the beach without going further down in a car. We had a rental so that was no problem, but we wouldn’t return to this property because it definitely does not have great beach access or viewing. For what you pay the rooms are also extremely small especially the bathrooms. Again more of an informational overview rather than a complaint. We didn’t end up staying our last two nights there because we found another property closer to family & the beach. Since we booked through Expedia we wouldn’t be able to get the money back, but yo us it was worth it to move to another property.
