This hotel was very convenient for our family's trip to the nearby attractions. The room was clean, spacious and the customer service was good. The only draw back was the limited parking spaces, the small parking lot in the front was difficult to drive around in. The location is around homelessness, we heard someone yelling in the middle of the night. But other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Such a cute little place! Great location, super friendly staff. The breakfast every morning in the lovely sunlit lobby was wonderful and started off all our days perfectly. Only downside was the hallways are very echoey so it got a little loud when other guests were talking or kids were running around the hallways, but I understand it happens! Would definitely stay here again!!

Hotel just spot clean, easy check in and check out, we left something in the room, than the staff let us know and willing to send the item by mail.
We definitely stay again in this hotel and recommend to all family and friends about this wonderful hotel👍

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful! The value of the hotel is good. Breakfast was simple but staff again was great! Rooms are remodeled and clean. If you’re a light sleeper this might not be for you because the walls are thin. We could hear traffic, footsteps above and people in hallways, and I’m sure people heard my kids at night. It was not a problem for us. The pool was clean, parking was close and some were shaded. Overall, it a good price for what you get and the area is in a nice location. Older but, nice. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, close to downtown. The room was newly remodeled, only downside was the sliding door and no lock for the bathroom, just have to be extra careful with the little ones not smashing their fingers. Other than that it was a great stay.

There was nothing not to like. I finally met manager David Chow and he is a very charming and kind individual in my dealing with him. I always stay in the same room when I go and was truly very comfortable. There is nothing inconvenient. The only thing I did notice and is only a recommendation to take care of it, as the plumber may not be aware of it, is that the sink in my bathroom needed to be snaked as they call it because the water was not draining fast enough. In other words after a few minutes it would stagnate unable to drain through. Also in that same room there is just one tile that is not aligned flat on the floor and my shoe kept getting stuck on it ever so lightly. Must have come loose since my last stay in that room. Nothing major, just an easy fix no one may be aware of. It is the one slightly to the right from the center when you are facing the mirror. Otherwise, I am so looking forward to my next stay at Rose 🌹 Crown Hotel. It is a gem 💎 near picturesque and historical Old Pasadena. My favorite sights there is the City Hall and it’s ornate Churches. Also love the nearby Huntington Library in San Marino, a place I’ve been frequenting since my youth with my family. Love all their marble statuary, the beauty of the residence, not to mention the large stained glass artwork of Christ breaking and offering the consecrated bread and wine representing His ultimate sacrifice for the salvation of mankind during the Last Supper. Lovely mansions nearby!

Dates: June 2022
👨👩👦👦 Party: 2 adults 3 small kids, 2 older adults (70’s), 3 adults, teens
🏢 Room Type: 3 double queen rooms
My family and I were in town from Las Vegas for a party. I know it’s only a two star hotel, and it may seem like that from the outside, but the inside of the hotel and the service we received were fantastic. David, at the front, was great with any questions I had. I would def recommend staying here if you’re in the Pasadena area.
➕Pros:
- Good lighting in the bathrooms
- Renovated; modern finishes on the inside
- Hot breakfast with breakfast sandwiches, sausages, bagels, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, coffee, and make your waffles
- Cleanliness was great 4.5/5 ★
- Indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast
- Elevator available
- Parking behind and in front of hotel, some covered parking
- They were able to accommodate my request to have 3 rooms next to each other (requested about 5 days beforehand)
- Walk-in shower (I don’t like tubs)
- Comfy beds and pillows 4/5 ★
- Luggage cart available (useful for us since we travel with 3 little kids and have lots of stuff)
➖Cons:
- 1 ply tissue paper (so bring your own if you’re private parts have expectations)
- Water got hot fast, but I couldn’t get cold water for when I needed it
- There seemed to be a mentally ill woman on our floor having an episode. This issue isn’t something they had control over or prevent.
- Only cleaning rooms if more than 3-night stay
